The 2020 college football season is set to begin on August 29th, and with conference play following not soon after we’re tracking the odds to win each FBS conference.

The graphs below display the odds to win each conference, tracking the movement of each team over time. The page starts with the Power Five (in alphabetical order), followed by the Group of Five (again in alphabetical order).

2020 ACC Title Odds

December 17: The ACC juggled their schedule to give Clemson and Notre Dame a week off before their Dec. 19th rematch in the conference championship game, in which the Tigers are heavy -420 favorites

November 26: With only four teams mathematically still alive for the ACC Championship, we will only see real movement if North Carolina upsets Notre Dame on Black Friday

November 20: Still a three team race at the top, UNC has seen their odds take a significant fade to odds of +6500

November 10: Despite Notre Dame’s OT upset win against the Tigers, Clemson remains heavy -550 favorites to win the conference, as we will likely see a rematch in the ACC title game between Dabo Swinney’s team and Brian Kelly’s Irish

November 5: We could potentially see the conference odds finally wrangled away from Clemson this week, as the Tigers head to Notre Dame with DJ Uiagalelei under center

October 27: Pitt had some potential to get back into the race with an upset of Notre Dame, but with their humbling 45-3 loss to Notre Dame, they’ve fallen out of the race at odds of +25000

October 21: Virginia Tech has jumped into the top four, with their average odds shortening to +1733. The race is still all but Clemson’s, as the Tigers are now -900 to win the conference after their 73-7 demolition of Georgia Tech

October 13: With Clemson’s win over Miami knocking the Hurricanes out of the race, UNC shortened to +1000 as they improved to #5 in the country

October 5: No major shakeups in the ACC this past weekend, but odds are likely to shift following Week 6’s massive tilt between Miami and Clemson

September 28: Following their season opening loss to Georgia Tech and embarrassing blowout at Miami in Week 4, Florida State’s odds have plummeted to +10000 and out of contention

September 11: With ACC play set to get underway this weekend, the markets are bullish on Clemson rolling as they’re at average odds of -402 to win another conference title this season

August 30: Clemson is still heavy -350 favorites, while newly minted 2020 conference mate Notre Dame holds firm at +500

August 8: Notre Dame immediately became the second favorite to win the ACC upon entering the conference for the 2020 season. Clemson’s odds went from -500to -450.

April 14: Dabo Swinney’s team has distanced itself from the pack, while the next group of contenders have all faded to +1200

March 27: Clemson has opened as a heavy -600 favorite, while Mack Brown’s Tar Heels seem to pose the biggest threat at +1000

2020 Big 12 Title Odds

December 17: OU has once against found themselves in the Big 12 Championship game, where they will look to avenge their loss to Iowa State as 5.5-point favorites

November 26: Oklahoma is back to being odds-on favorite as they’ve run off five straight victories, and Friday’s Texas-Iowa State game likely determines their opponent

November 20: Odds held in the Big 12 last week, with this week’s Bedlam game an important one in the conference title race

November 10: Oklahoma is once again the odds on favorite at -110 with Bedlam in two weeks, while Texas moves back into second at +300 after their close win over West Virginia

November 5: Texas’ win over Oklahoma State has kept the conference a four horse race, with the Longhorns now third at odds of +350 to win. The Sooner remains +123 favorites on average

October 27: Kansas State has vaulted themselves into the top three off their drubbing of Kansas and Oklahoma State’s win over Iowa State, as the Wildcats are now at odds of +550

October 21: With just one Week 7 game in the conference between WVU and Kansas, the conference odds remain unchanged going into Week 8

October 13: After their home loss to Kansas State, TCU’s odds have faded from +900 to +2050. OU’s win at Red River over Texas also vaulted them back to favorites at +163

October 5: Following losses by Oklahoma and Texas in Week 5, the Big 12 race is wide open. Oklahoma State is the top contender at average odds of +325, while Kansas State and TCU also saw their odds improve

September 28: Despite their stunning loss to Kansas State after being up 21 points heading to the 4th quarter, Oklahoma are still favorites at average odds of +105. Baylor saw their odds improve to +1200 after their season opening win over Kansas in Dave Aranda’s debut

September 11: The Sooners begin their campaign against Missouri State on Saturday, and are still favorites at average odds of +103

August 30: Texas continues it’s push into Oklahoma’s territory, now at average odds of +150 to win the league. The Sooners remain average favorites at odds of +100

August 8: The top-two favorites both got shorter. Oklahoma went from -110 to -125. Texas improved from +300 to +175.

April 14th: Although Texas opened at just +150, they’ve quickly faded to +300 while Oklahoma State gains ground up to +400

March 27th: The conference once again projects to be a two team race between Oklahoma and Texas, while Chuba Hubbard leads the upset-minded OSU Cowboys at +600

2020 Big Ten Title Odds

December 17: The Big Ten changed the rule about minimum games played to get Ohio State into the title game, and they are near three touchdown favorites against Northwestern

November 26: Ohio State’s win over Indiana and Northwestern’s win over Wisconsin have set both schools on a crash course to meet in the conference championship game

November 20: We have de facto semifinals in each division of the Big Ten in Week 12 as Indiana plays Ohio State and Wisconsin faces Northwestern. Indiana keeps shortening and could get themselves into the lead of the race with an upset win over the Buckeyes

November 10: Is the Big Ten already cannibalizing itself? Ohio State is basically now a lock at -1100, while Wisconsin remains +1200 despite having only played one game due to a COVID outbreak

November 5: While Ohio State is an overwhelming -850 favorite, there’s been plenty of movement behind them. Penn State falling to 0-2 has ejected their odds to +6500, while Michigan’s disappointing loss to the Spartans led to them fading to +1900.

October 27: Finally the Big Ten returned to the field this week, and we see movement in the odds. Penn State’s stunning loss at Indiana dropped their odds to +1600, while the Hoosiers improved to +5000. Nebraska also plummeted to +25000 after yet another embarrassing loss to Ohio State. Joe Milton looks like the real deal for Michigan, and the Wolverines also shortened to an average of +800.

October 21: The Big Ten finally returns to the field in Week 8, with Ohio State in pole position

October 13: Odds held this week with Big Ten play now two weeks away

October 5: With star WR Rashod Bateman opting back into the season, Minnesota has see their average odds improve to +2400 as teams begin their training camp in the coming days

September 28: With the gauntlet of their early Big Ten schedule against Ohio State, Penn State and Wisconsin within the first three weeks, Nebraska’s odds have taken a big hit to an average of +6600

September 18: Big Ten Football is back! The conference announced earlier this week they will play a 9-game schedule beginning the weekend of October 24th. Ohio State has re-opened as the heavy -300 favorite win the conference

August 30: The Big Ten Football Season was postponed until Spring 2021

August 8: With Micah Parsons (Penn St), Rashod Bateman (Minnesota), and Rondale Moore (Purdue) all opting out, the fully intact Ohio State Buckeyes saw their odds improve from -125 to -230.

April 14th: The market is bullish on Wisconsin who have shortened from +900 to +450, as well as Penn State , who’s price has improved from +1000 to +500

March 27th: Unsurprisingly, Ohio State has opened as the odds-on -225 favorite

2020 Pac-12 Title Odds

December 17: The original matchup was slated to be Washington vs USC, but COVID-issues arose for the Huskies, leading to Oregon taking their spot. USC are 3.5-point home favorites against the Ducks.

November 26: Oregon remains the -165 favorite after escaping an upset bid from UCLA in Week 12

November 20: COVID has already led to a shortened and disjointed PAC12 schedule, but Oregon and USC remain favorites – despite both being 2-0 in very different ways

November 10: Despite winning in two very different ways, Oregon and USC are now +150 favorites after the opening week of PAC-12 play. UCLA heads to the basement after losing at Colorado

November 5: The PAC-12 finally returns to the field this week, with odds staying on par from last week. We will likely see more movement next week.

October 27: With games in the PAC-12 just two weeks away, Oregon has become a heavier favorite – now at average odds of +185

October 21: Odds remain unchanged with PAC-12 football still two weeks away from returning to competition

October 13: Odds held for the PAC-12 with play still a few weeks away

October 1: Odds have re-opened on the Pac 12 Conference Championship with the plan for a Fall schedule in place, with Oregon and USC the co-favorites at odds of +200 to win the conference

September 24: The Pac 12 football season will be conference only, consisting of seven games beginning in November

August 30: The Pac-12 football season was postponed until Spring of 2021

August 8: Utah has faded badly, going from +400 to +1000, now sitting well behind the Washington Huskies (+500) for third spot

April 14th: Utah has climbed up to third in contention, with their odds shortening to +300

March 27th: The Pac-12 is projected to be a tight race at open, with Oregon a slight +225 favorite over USC at +275

2020 SEC Title Odds

December 17: Despite losing as massive favorites vs LSU in Week 15, Florida will play Alabama in the SEC Championship on Dec. 19th. They are 17.5-point underdogs.

November 26: Alabama remains the heavy favorite to win another SEC Championship

November 20: The SEC has been battered by COVID in recent weeks, but Alabama and Florida remain on course to face off in the SEC title game

November 10: Florida has seen their odds shorten to +250 as they now have the driver’s seat in the East after blowing out Georgia

November 5: Kentucky was hanging on by a thread as a darkhorse before their loss to Georgia last weekend, and they’ve now plummeted to odds of +30000. Florida-Georgia in Jacksonville this week is likely to shift the race

October 27: Alabama is still odds-on favorite in the SEC, but lost their best offensive player in Jaylen Waddle to a season-ending ankle injury against Tennessee. The Tide will need DeVonta Smith and John Metchie to step up

October 21: Kentucky’s destruction of Tennessee at Neyland Stadium send each team’s odds in different directions, as the Wildcats are now +5000 and the Vols are +16677 on average to win the conference

October 13: LSU’s defensive implosion in their loss to Missouri dropped their record to 1-2, and sent their odds plummeting to +22500 and out of the conference title race. Alabama vs Georgia in Week 7 will have major implication on the conference title race.

October 5: Building off the longest winning streak in the nation dating back to last season, Tennessee moved to 2-0 this year and improved their average odds to +2350 to win the SEC Championship. Mississippi State fell back to odds of +3650 after their loss to Arkansas

September 28: Mississippi State is the biggest winner of the weekend, as their SEC title odds shot to an average of +1200 in a record setting win over reigning champion LSU in Mike Leach’s debut. Conversely, the Tigers conference title odds took a hit to +3000

September 11: SEC play is still a few Saturdays away, but Florida’s price is rapidly shortening – now at average odds of +533. LSU’s recent run of opt-outs from star players has weakened their average odds to +1233

August 30: As we move into September and SEC play still weeks away, Bama leads the way but the distance is being closed. Auburn has seen their odds fade due to a COVID outbreak limiting practice time

August 8: Alabama is back to being the odds-on chalk at -143

April 14th: Lots of movement since odds opened as Georgia, Florida, Texas A&M & Tennessee have seen their odds shorten, while Alabama & LSU have seen fades in the early market

March 27th:  The Crimson Tide open as odds-on favorites to reclaim the SEC crown, while defending champion LSU is +275
