Trainers with the Most Preakness Stakes Wins
Will 2020 be the year that Bob Baffert passes R. Wyndham Walden? The Arizona-born trainer has compiled over 2,800 career wins, including five Preakness Stakes titles from 1997 to 2018. In 2019, both Tyler Gaffalione (jockey) and Mark E. Casse (trainer) were first-time winners with War of Will.
Jockeys with the Most Preakness Stakes Wins
It should come as no surprise to see Eddie Arcaro at the top of this list. The Cincinnati native won more American classic races than any other jockey in history and finished atop the earnings leaderboard six times from 1940 to 1958. His record of six Preakness Stakes titles is unlikely to be ever be matched.
