No. 11 Ole Miss (8-1, 4-1) had last week off after edging Texas A&M 31-28 on Oct. 29. The Rebels are 3-1 SU and 2-2 ATS in SEC home games after a bye week since 2015.

Alabama opened a 9.5-point favorite over Ole Miss and was quickly bumped up to a 10.5-point choice in a series that it has dominated in recent years. The Crimson Tide are 6-0 SU and 3-3 ATS against the Rebels since 2016. Over a longer stretch, the Tide are 16-2 SU but only 7-11 ATS in the series. The game has gone over the total in five of the last seven meetings. Alabama is 1-3 ATS in the last four in Oxford.

Ole Miss is 3-5-1 ATS this season, 5-0 SU and 1-4 ATS at home. The Rebels have covered the number once in five SEC games this season, a 52-28 victory over Vanderbilt. The Crimson Tide are 2-2 SU and 1-3 ATS on the road this season after the loss at LSU.
Alabama Looks to Recover
Alabama must recover quickly after seeing its national title hopes all but evaporate in the 32-31 loss at LSU the last time out Saturday, although that situation that did not chase early money away. The two-loss Crimson Tide ( by four [pints total) are looking up at Ole Miss and LSU in the SEC West standings and will need to win out and another LSU loss along the way to even have a chance at returning to the SEC title game.

The Crimson Tide sacked LSU quarterback Jayden Daniels six times, defending Heisman Trophy winner Bryce Young passed for 328 and one touchdown and the Tide outgained LSU by almost 100 yards.
But Young completed only 49 percent of his 51 passes and threw an interception, and Alabama again was unable to generate much of a ground game in a game that had four lead changes in the fourth quarter before WIll Reichard’s 46-yard field goal with xx seconds remaining forced overtime.
Ole Miss Refreshed After a Bye
Ole Miss got back on track with a 31-28 victory against Texas A&M the last time out two weeks ago, after their seven-game winning streak was broken in a lopsided 45-20 loss at LSU on Oct. 22.
Jaxson Dart on the money 🎯
— We Run the Sip (@OMRebelNation) November 1, 2022
Two-way quarterback Jaxson Dart guides a Lane Kiffin offense that has emphasized the running game more than ever this season. Running back Quinshon Judkins has rushed for 1,036 yards and seven touchdowns and 1A back Zach Evans had 680 yards rushing and seven touchdowns. Throw in Dart’s 473 yards rushing, and the Rebels average 267.4 rushing yards per game, third in Division I and behind only behind triple-option teams Air Force and Army West Point.
Dart has thrown for 1,911 yards with 14 touchdowns, but he has thrown seven interceptions and is completing only 61.1 percent of his passes. He is 41 for 73 (56.2 percent) for 553 yards in the last three games, starting with a 48-34 victory over Auburn in which he attempted only 19 passes.
Expected Line Movement
Alabama always draws the money. Always. The number already has gone and may go higher, but the history of this series suggests the home team can keep it within the number. Alabama has averaged 56.7 points per game in their six-game series winning streak, their low in 42-21 home win last year. That being said, the Tide has lost 19 regular-season games since Nick Saban took over the program before the 2007 season. Ten of those defeats have come to teams who had an open week prior to the matchup.
