Two great late games steal the show on the NFL Week 14 Predictions; 49ers and Seahawks will meet on a tremendous NFC West matchup, and then the Panthers will try to show they are for real visiting the Saints.

Detroit Lions +2.5 at Philadelphia Eagles -2.5. Game Total: 54.

Eagles QB Nick Foles hasn’t lost all season when he has started for the Eagles this season, and he has thrown 19 touchdowns without an interception on his career.

“Big thing for Nick is his experience,” coach Chip Kelly said. “He’s getting better and better and making good decisions. We trust him because he’s a good decision-maker. You’re starting to see him grow.”

Detroit is 2-5 ATS in its last 7 games when playing Philadelphia, and the Eagles are finally looking as a playoffs team that can compete in the NFC.

Prediction: Eagles -2.5.

Miami Dolphins +3 at Pittsburgh Steelers -3. Game Total: 41.

Dolphins WR Mike Wallace comes back to the place that saw him become a star WR, but didn’t want to give him the ‘star money’.  Wallace caught seven balls for 82 yards and a touchdown against the NY Jets on Sunday, and didn’t hesitate about calling himself a ‘great player’.

“This is the time when you’ve got to be the best you can be,” Wallace said, via the Miami Herald. “It’s December. I’ve had enough time to get adjusted. It’s the time for me to be the player I know I am, no matter [what]. Just block out everything and play football. I’m a great player, I know that. It’s all that really matters. … Let’s call a spade a spade.”

Pittsburgh is 5-0 SU in its last 5 games when playing Miami.

Prediction: Steelers -3.

Seattle Seahawks +2.5 at San Francisco 49ers -2.5. Game Total: 42.

The Seattle Seahawks looked impressive against the New Orleans Saints, and yet they are almost 3 points dogs visiting the Niners.

“For us to come out in that fashion and to win that game the way that we did was awesome,” Russell Wilson said after beating the Saints.

Seattle has covered the last four games in the series, and three of the last four have gone UNDER the total.

San Francisco beat the Rams without problems, but this is a high stakes game, not because Seattle will lose the top of the NFC West division, but because the praise of Seattle is too high to lose it just one week after smashing the Saints.

Prediction: Seahawks +2.5.

Carolina Panthers +3.5 at New Orleans Saints -3.5.

“We took one in the chin today,” QB Drew Brees said about the loss against Seahawks on Monday Night. “We got outplayed today. They played great. They made a lot of plays, and we didn’t.”

Carolina has won eight in a row including victories over the 49ers and Patriots.  Also, New Orleans is 1-11 ATS in its last 12 games when playing at home against the Panthers.

Prediction: Panthers +3.5.
