By definition, this is as team-oriented a squad as you’ll find in the NCAA this year. Nine players average between 15 and 30 minutes of court time per game and although they’re one of the best rebounding teams in the country, none of their players rank in the top 350 in Division I in that category.

North Carolina A&T Betting Outlook

The Aggies had to be thrilled to get a buzzer beater victory on New Year’s Eve against Hofstra, emerging with a 81-79 win. Prior to that, they had lost four in a row. It’s been a tough three week stretch for the Aggies, who are just 2-5 in their last seven games.

They are undefeated at home with a 4-0 record, which makes it somewhat surprising that they are such heavy underdogs in the college basketball odds on Wednesday.

Where the Aggies have really struggled this season is on the defensive end. According to KenPom, they are 311th in the nation with a 108.9 adjusted defensive efficiency. In their last four games, they’ve allowed their opponents to shoot a collective 50% from the floor.

Defense like that won’t lead to many wins. It’s been a struggle against the better squads they’ve faced this campaign as well, as the Aggies are just 4-7 against opponents with a record above .500 at this point.
