Wooden Award Odds Movement Timeline
- March 3: Flagg (-199) is still favored but Broome (+132) is narrowing the gap. The vast majority of sportsbooks now only list those two players in their 2025 Wooden Award odds.
- February 11: Auburn’s Broome (+200) refuses to let Duke’s Flagg (-300) run away with the Wooden Award odds, but the pair has certainly turned it into a two-horse race. The third-favorite, Purdue’s Braden Smith, is back at +5000.
- January 14: An injury to Broome (+501) coupled with a couple huge games from Flagg (-444) has allowed the Duke freshman to take over as the heavy favorite in the 2025 Wooden Award odds.
- January 7: Johni Broome (18.6 PPG, 11.1 RPG) has his 13-1 Auburn Tigers ranked #2 in the nation and has become the odds-on, -245 favorite in the 2025 Wooden Award odds. Flagg is a +255 second-favorite.
- November 25: Averaging 17.8 PPG and 8.8 RPG, Cooper Flagg has shortened to +300 on average. Marquette’s Kam Jones is now the second-favorite at +610, while Hunter Dickinson faded to third at +900.
- November 5: It took one game for Cooper Flagg (+665) to become the outright favorite, slightly ahead of Hunter Dickinson (+667), RJ Davis (+692), and Mark Sears (+709).
- November 4: On the opening night of the season, Kansas big man Hunter Dickinson (+675) is the slight favorite over UNC’s RJ Davis (+708), Alabama’s Mark Sears (+710), and Duke freshman Cooper Flagg (+900).
