The SEC’s biggest surprise will meet the Big Ten’s biggest surprise on Saturday with a spot in the Sweet 16 on the line. The #5 Vanderbilt Commodores (27-8, 18-17 ATS) will #4 Nebraska Cornhuskers (27-6, 18-14-1 ATS) will square off at Paycom Center in Oklahoma City on March 21st (start time TBD).

The spread opened with Nebraska as a 1.5-point neutral-court favorite but the Huskers were priced at -102 to cover.Vandy +1.5 opened at -118. On the moneyline, both teams were priced at -110 with the game total at 146.5 (-110 each way).
Within minutes of the line opening, Vandy had shortened to -125 on the moneyline and -2.5 (-110) against the spread. The total had increased a full point to 147.5.

Vanderbilt beat #12 McNeese (78-68) on Thursday, getting a game-high 26 points from Tyler Tanner. Nebraska routed #13 Troy (76-47) with Pryce Sandfort’s 23 points leading the charge.
According to Sportradar data, these two schools haven’t played since 2010.
Vanderbilt is well ahead of Nebraska in the March Madness championship odds (+7000 vs +12500).
