The #16 Siena Saints (23-11) are up big on the #1 Duke Blue Devils (32-2) at halftime in the biggest surprise of the 2026 NCAA Tournament so far.

But even with an 11-point cushion (34-23) heading into the second stanza, Siena remains a massive underdog.

On the moneyline, Siena is trading at just 23¢ to win (equal to a +335 moneyline). Duke to win is trading at 78¢ (equal to a -355 moneyline).

The spread favors Duke by 10.5.

While those numbers don’t sound great for the Saints, they are a massive improvement from the pregame odds. Duke was a 28.5-point ATS favorite and -4900 on the moneyline.

The Saints have a +5 rebounding advantage at halftime (18-13). Siena leading scorer Gavin Doty has a game-high 16 points at the break, and was all-world in the first 20 minutes.

Cameron Boozer, the heavy favorite in the Wooden Award odds, leads Duke with 13 points at halftime.

The winner of Duke vs Siena will face #9 TCU in the second round on Saturday. The Horned Frogs took down #8 Ohio State (66-64) in the opening tip of the tournament.
