Tae Meadows Rushing Yards
- Friday College Football Prop Pick: Tae Meadows under 40.5 rushing yards (-114)
I’m fading Troy’s ground game in the Sun Belt Championship game on Friday night.
James Madison’s front is a major problem, ranking fifth nationally while allowing 2.8 yards per rush, including an uncanny 1.7 yards per carry in their last three contests. The Dukes are also fourth in defensive line yards per rush (2.2), which means their front consistently bodies opposing offensive lines.
Meadow’s season average of 62.3 yards per game looks great on the surface. However, those numbers are buoyed by a nuclear 186-yard performance against FCS Nicholls State. Remove that season-opening contest, and the junior back averages just 49.9 yards per game, barely above Friday’s prop number.
In Troy’s losses, the Trojans average 35.3 yards per game, and they’re massive 23.5 underdogs in this one. This projects as a negative game script and a heavy passing second half as they chase points.
Against the Duke’s 20th-ranked rushing defense by EPA per play, Meadows likely needs a busted run to beat us. I’ll happily bet on JMU’s front seven and game script winning that battle.
Dylan Riley Rushing Yards

Dylan Riley’s rushing yardage prop sits at 77.5 yards heading into the Mountain West Championship game against UNLV. The Boise State star hung 201 rushing yards on the Rebels earlier this season, ripping them apart on just 15 carries.
UNLV has been gashed by the run all year, allowing a massive 177 yards per game and a 5.3 yards per carry, which are among the worst marks in the country. This is the perfect matchup for Riley to explode, as the Rebels are dead last in EPA per rush allowed, and 126th in rushing success rate against this season.
Riley enters Championship week averaging 6.2 yards per tote, and he’s cleared 15 carries in six of 12 games, including 20+ carries in two of his last three.
Boise State will want to protect quarterback Maddux Madsen in his return from injury, and the easiest way to do that is to lean on their workhorse behind a physical line against a soft UNLV front.
Even if Riley sees his average volume of 15-18 carries, he should comfortably clear 77.5 yards on the ground in the biggest game of the year for the Broncos.
