Ohio State is the week’s biggest opening favorite at 36.5 points over Northwestern on the road. The smallest line is the one point by which visiting Texas is favored over Kansas State.

Tennessee vs Georgia Early Odds & Prediction
When Tennessee (8-0, 4-0 SEC) and Georgia (8-0, 5-0 SEC) meet in Athens, it will mark the first game between the top two teams in the AP media poll since #1 LSU played #2 Alabama in 2019. Georgia is favored by nine points.
Tennessee tuned up for the showdown by routing visiting Kentucky 44-6 on Saturday night. Jalin Hyatt led the Volunteers by catching five passes for 138 yards and two touchdowns, raising his season total to a school-record 14 TD receptions.

Tennessee intercepted Will Levis three times and held him to 98 yards passing. The Wildcats were just 2 of 13 on third down.
Daijun Edwards and Kenny McIntosh ran for two touchdowns each to lead Georgia over Florida 42-20 in Jacksonville in the “World’s Largest Outdoor Cocktail Party.” Edwards had 106 yards rushing and McIntosh finished with 90.
Stetson Bennett completed 19 of 38 passes for 316 yards with two touchdowns and two interceptions. Tight end Brock Bowers caught five passes for a career-high 154 yards, including a 73-yard score in which he hauled in a ball that was tipped.

Georgia is the defending national champion and playing well. However, surprising Tennessee has proven it is not a fluke and quarterback Hendon Hooker should at least keep the Vols close.
Pick: Tennessee +9 (-110)
Alabama vs LSU Early Odds & Prediction
This matchup has lost a little luster in the last few years, but it is still a pivotal game in the SEC. Alabama is a 12.5-point road favorite in Baton Rouge. Both teams were off this weekend.
Alabama (7-1, 4-1 SEC) beat Mississippi State 30-6 on Oct. 22. It was a nice bounce-back win after the Crimson Tide lost to Tennessee 52-49 the previous week.
Alabama quarterback Bryce Young has thrown for 1,906 yards while battling injuries. Georgia Tech transfer Jahmyr Gibbs has rushed for 672 yards in his first season with the Tide.

LSU (6-2, 4-1 SEC) has won back-to-back games, including upsetting Mississippi 45-20 on Oct. 22.
Brian Kelly has done a good job of getting LSU back on track in his first season as coach. However, Alabama showed it is back on track after dismantling Mississippi State and should handle the Tigers.
Pick: Alabama -12.5 (-110)
That’s Outta Line
The season has fallen apart for Michigan State (3-5, 1-4 Big Ten), which lost 29-7 at Michigan on Saturday night for its fifth loss in the last six games. Compounding matters was Michigan State players attacking a Michigan player after the game in the tunnel leading to the locker rooms in Ann Arbor.

#14 Illinois (7-1, 4-1) is one of the nation’s surprise teams and won its sixth game in a row Saturday, beating Nebraska 26-9 on the road. The Fighting Illini lead the Big Ten West.
While the programs are going in opposite directions, Illinois being installed as a 15-point home favorite over Michigan State for Saturday’s matchup seems high. The talent gap isn’t two touchdowns between the programs.
