#25 LSU puts its four-game winning streak on the line when it hosts #8 Tennessee at 12 p.m. ET Saturday in an SEC game at Tiger Stadium in Baton Rouge.
LSU (4-1/2-0 SEC) rallied from a 17-0 victory to win at Auburn 21-17 last Saturday. Tennessee (4-0/1-0 SEC) was off last week after beating visiting Florida 38-33 on Sept. 24.
Tennessee is favored by three points in a game that will be shown on ESPN. The Volunteers opened at -4.

Tennessee is a -155 favorite on the moneyline in the college football odds, giving it an implied win probability of 60.78%. The Vols’ SEC championship odds are +1300 and LSU is listed at +4500.
The weather forecast calls for sunny, a high of 85 and wind from the northeast at 5-15 mph.
Tennessee Betting Outlook
The Tennessee offense has been rolling through the first four games and is a big reason why the Vols are 4-0 for the first time since 2016. The Vols lead the nation in yards a game with 559.3 and are second in scoring at 48.5 points a game.

However, the status of star wide receiver Cedric Tillman is questionable after he underwent arthroscopic ankle surgery following the Florida game. He has 17 receptions for 246 yards and one touchdown.
Jalin Hyatt has been quarterback Hendon Hooker’s most-frequent target. Hyatt has 23 catches for 325 yards and three TDs.
Hooker is having an outstanding season and has +1400 Heisman Trophy odds.
Hooker has already passed for 1,193 yards and eight touchdowns while completing 71.7% of his 113 attempts and not being intercepted. He also has 175 yards rushing and three TDs on the ground.
Against Florida, Hooker was nearly unstoppable. He threw for a season-high 349 yards and two touchdowns on 22-of-28 passing while also running for 112 yards and a score.
Bru McCoy stepped in for Tillman and finished with five catches for 102 yards along with a touchdown that covered 70 yards.

Tennessee’s pass defense struggled against the Gators as Anthony Richardson had 453 yards through the air. That more than doubled his previous career high.
The Vols are just 99th in the FBC in total defense, allowing 407 yards a game. The scoring defense is 31st, though, with a 19.0 average.
LSU Betting Outlook
Quarterback Jayden Daniels is expected to play for LSU after leaving each of the last two games with injuries.

Daniels departed win over Auburn after banging knees with a defender. A week early, he was forced from a win over New Mexico because of a back strain.
The transfer from Arizona State struggled against Auburn. He was just 8-of-20 passing for 80 yards, though he did rush for 59 yards.
For the season, Daniels has a 68.2% completion rate, 915 yards passing, six touchdown passes and no interceptions. He has been sacked 15 times in five games, though.
John Emery Jr.’s 20-yard run late with 3:32 left in the third quarter last Saturday put LSU ahead 21-17. The Tigers’ defense then sealed the deal, though Auburn had a 438-270 advantage in total yardage, as Greg Brooks Jr. had an interception with 2:25 remaining in the game.
LSU’s defense in 17th nationally in scoring defense (14.8) and 19th in total defense (293.8).

The Tigers played almost the entire game last week without cornerback Sevyn Brooks, a transfer from Ohio State. He sustained a bruised spine on the opening kickoff and is expected to miss six weeks.
Tennessee vs LSU Prediction
The teams have met just once in the last 10 years with LSU winning 30-10 on the road in 2017.
Tennessee’s offense has been pretty much unstoppable, but it will face its stiffest challenge of the season to this point against LSU. The Tigers have made substantial progress under first-year coach Brian Kelly since losing to Florida State in its opener and is good enough to win this game outright.
