Three Mid-American Conference games are on tap, all starting at 7 p.m. ET, as Buffalo visits Central Michigan at Kelly/Shorts Stadium in Mount Pleasant, Bowling Green hosts Kent State at Doyt L. Perry Stadium and Northern Illinois travels to Western Michigan for a game at Waldo Stadium in Kalamazoo.
ESPN 2 will televise Buffalo vs Central Michigan. CBS Sports Network will carry Kent State vs Bowling Green. Northern Illinois vs Western Michigan will be on ESPNU.
The games are particularly important for Buffalo and Bowling Green as they are in a three-way tie with Ohio for first place in the MAC East.

Buffalo in Bounce-Back Spot
Central Michigan is a 1.5-point favorite as can be seen in the college football odds. Buffalo’s MAC championship odds are +1200.
Buffalo (5-4/4-1 MAC/3-3 road) had its five-game winning streak broken last week at Ohio, losing 45-24. The Bulls were hurt by three turnovers, including two fumbles.
Cole Snyder completed 25 of 49 passes for 238 yards and two touchdowns with one interception. However, top running backs Mike Washington and Ron Cook Jr. were held to a combined 23 yards on nine carries.

Snyder has thrown for 2,145 yards and 14 touchdowns this season. Washington has 506 yards rushing and Cook is right behind with 500.
Central Michigan (3-6/2-3 MAC/1-3 home) has won two of its last three games, including beating Northern Illinois 35-22 on the road last week.
The Chippewas went with two quarterbacks in that game. Daniel Richardson had 150 yards and two touchdowns on 13-of-22 passing while being intercepted once. Jase Bauer ran for 109 yards and two scores in 14 attempts.
For the season, Richardson has 1,893 yards and 15 touchdowns through the air.

Collin Schlee was 25-of-41 passing for 183 yards and a touchdown, raising his season totals to 1,732 yards and nine scores. Ja’Shaun Poole caught 13 balls for 87 yards.
The Golden Flashes are 124th among the 131 FBS in total defense, allowing 452.9 yards a game.
Bowling Green (5-4/4-1 MAC/3-2 home) beat Western Michigan 13-9 last week to run its winning streak to three games.
Ta’Ron Keith set up the Falcons’ lone touchdown with an 83-yard kickoff return. Matt McDonald connected on 23-of-31 passing attempts for 161 yards.
McDonald has 1,781 yards this season with 16 touchdowns and just three interceptions in 270 attempts.

Bowling Green is giving up 31.8 points a game, ranking 117th in the nation.
Kent State has won the last four games in the series, including 27-20 last season at home as Cooper rushed for 120 yards and two touchdowns. McDonald threw for 263 yards with one TD and one pick.
Look for Bowling Green to break that losing streak in this game with McDonald making the difference.

Western Michigan is a one-point favorite. The Broncos are listed at +1400 in the MAC championship odds.
Northern Illinois (2-7/1-4 MAC/1-4 road) will try to snap a two-game losing streak after falling to Central Michigan last week.

Northern Illinois is 120th in the FBS in scoring defense at 33.2 points a game.

Quarterback Jack Salopek (knee) missed the game and is questionable for this week. True freshman Tyson Bourguet started in his place and threw for 191 yards on 16-of-27 with one touchdown and one interception.
Corey Crooms had eight receptions for 151 yards and Western Michigan’s lone touchdown. For the season, he has 43 catches for 620 yards and five scores.

Western Michigan beat Northern Illinois 42-21 last season on the road. Northern Illinois, despite its poor record, figures to turn the tables this time.
