Big Brother 17 is set to premiere in just a few short weeks (June 24). The cast info has yet to be released, but we’re sure to see certain archetypes return, like the New Yorker, the surfer, the nerd, the model, the model, the male model, and the aspiring model.

While the start of a new season is always something to get excited about, we have some bad news for the truly voyeuristic among you; it looks like Big Brother After Dark will not air uncensored as some had hoped.

Since fans won’t have the full access they once did – the full, juicy, sweaty access – we’ve come up with a few ways that producers can make it up to us. We’ve also set the odds on how likely they are to occur.

1 – Let fans control the house lighting: 3/1

  • Is your favorite contestant not awake when you want her to be? BAM! LIGHTS ON! Want to put the boring guy in a sleepy haze? POW! MOOD LIGHTING! Can’t quite figure out if that one person’s shirt is blue and black or white and gold? FULL THROTTLE ON THE OVERHEADS!

2 – Have fans do routine maintenance on the house: 4/1

  • Is one of the toilets broken? Is the dishwasher not working properly? Does the BBQ need a look? Instead of getting pros to come in and fix the problem, select a lucky fan! “But what if they’re not a trained plumber,” you ask? That will make it all the more entertaining, I respond. Plus, it has the whole pizza-delivery-guy porn aura to it. “Sorry, I can’t fix your dishwasher. But I might be able to help with something else, if you catch my drift.”

3 – Let one lucky fan live in the attic as long as he doesn’t get discovered: 10/1

  • He or she could have weekly tasks like making ghost noises, whispering through the vents while the contestants sleep, and basically anything that amounts to haunting. The only catch is that if (s)he is discovered, it’s out the door … make that attic window.

Do you have any suggestions on how we, the viewer, can get even closer to the contestants, be it emotionally, physically, or spiritually? Let us know in the comments!
