“I’m going to be working for you. I’m not going to have time to go play golf.” – Donald Trump, August 2016.

Oh, how times have changed! Since becoming president, Donald Trump has taken a whopping 41 golf club trips and has been sighted golfing 19 times.

According to the Washington Post, Trump has visited his own properties at a rate of once every 3.4 days since becoming president, and has played golf once every 5.7 days. That averages to more than once a week. Compare that to Obama, who played about once every 8.8 days.

July was an especially golf-heavy month for the Leader of the Free World. Almost half of his days in the US were spent at one of his properties. While the Senate fumbled their shot at healthcare reform and Anthony Scaramucci wreaked havoc in the White House, Trump was putting about on one of his courses.

What does the future hold for our Golfer in Chief? Here are some props to consider.

Donald Trump Golf Odds

Over/Under on amount of Trump golf sightings in 2017: 45.5

So far, Trump has visited his properties 41 times and has been sighted golfing on 19 different occasions. July, arguably his most scandal-ridden month, was jam-packed with trips to the course. With his administration in disarray and Congress unable to legislate, it makes sense for Trump to spend even more time working on his drive.

Odds Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders is forced to brag about Trump’s golfing habit: 2/1

Donald Trump has an official handicap of 2.8, but if we account for mulligans and gimmes, golfer Ernie Els predicts his true handicap is closer to 8 or 9. Anthony Scaramucci told reporters that he had seen the President sink 3-foot putts, but the official White House transcript changed the quote to “30-foot putts”.

If Huckabee Sanders wants to keep her job, she’s going to have to confirm the President’s golfing prowess when asked by reporters.

Odds Trump challenges a political rival or foreign adversary to a golf match: 25/1

In 2013, Trump took aim at Mark Cuban, tweeting: “Golf match? I’ve won 18 Club Championships including this weekend. @mcuban swings like a little girl with no power or talent. Mark’s a loser.”

With new sanctions on Russia and growing tension with North Korea, Donald Trump needs to find a way to negotiate with America’s foreign adversaries. He doesn’t have any political experience and his reputation as a dealmaker is somewhat tarnished, so he’s going to have to try something different. Perhaps he’ll stick to what he knows best — golf.

Odds Trump is filmed making a 30-foot putt: 250/1

Nope. Just… nope.
