The Kentucky Wildcats want to keep knocking top seeds as they take on the Wisconsin Badgers in the Final Four, this Saturday at 8:49 PM ET at the AT&T Stadium.
The Wildcats have made it through their ‘one and done’ system that allows coach John Calipari recruit the best player in the nation, and then let them go to pursuits the money in the NBA.
“When you’re changing the whole direction of a family, does it matter if it’s one or four years, unless you’re ingrained in, this is how it has to be?” he said. “That’s why I don’t read it, don’t care. All I do is, let me take care of these kids.”
Wisconsin hasn’t been news in the entire tournament; most people have been paying attention to other schools, but that doesn’t affect the Badgers think they are perceived.
“Sometimes, we kind of fail the eye test,” said 7-foot, 234-pound center Frank Kaminsky. “I know that, me, personally, I’ve heard comments about how I look like I’m asleep all the time. I don’t know where that came from,” the center said, drawing laughs.
The Final Four odds for this matchup have it listed as pick’em. The Wildcats are 5-0 ATS in their last 5 NCAA Tournament games, and 7-0 ATS in their last seven games vs. a team with a winning % above .600. The Badgers are 4-0 ATS in their last 4 NCAA Tournament games.
