Following a two week hiatus, the PGA Tour returns to begin the 2025-26 season at the Procore Championship. Unlike in year’s past, a solid field has been assembled, with ten Americans who will be teeing it up at the Ryder Cup in a few week’s time competing to stay sharp.
Going low is mandatory for success at this event, with at least 16-under-par being shot by the eventual champion in the last six years. Scottie Scheffler, who has won fives time on the campaign, is the overwhelming favorite to add to his trophy chest.
Procore Championship Odds 2025
Let’s be honest – selecting anybody for this tournament to win not named Scottie Scheffler is a pretty risky proposition, given the machine-like run he’s been on the last three years. Having said that, I still can’t bring myself to wager on a player at +205 odds pre-tournament, even if it’s probably the prudent play.
Sam Burns starts my card at +1800, the player with the third shortest odds to claim the Procore Championship. While he hasn’t played here since 2021, he was very good that week, posting a tie for seventh.

Last Five Procore Championship Winners
I’m more bullish on Burns, given his play since May. Since then, Burns has five top-7s, including a playoff loss at the RBC Canadian Open. The last two times teeing it up, Burns was T-4th at the BMW Championship and T-7th at the Tour Championship, both FedExCup Playoff events. If Scheffler should surprisingly stumble, Burns could wind up with his sixth career triumph on the PGA Tour.
Procore Championship 2025 Picks & Value Bets
- Maverick McNealy +2500: Maverick McNealy was left off the United States Ryder Cup team, so there might be extra motivation to prove captain Keegan Bradley wrong. He’s been quite solid of late, racking up six top-25s in his last nine starts, including a third place showing at the BMW Championship two tournaments ago. For the campaign, McNealy picked up seven top-10s. In 2021, McNealy was runner-up at this tourney, so he can draw upon that and perhaps pick up his second victory of his career.
- Max Homa +4500: After a nightmare season, Max Homa nearly busted out of his funk at the John Deere Classic, where he led in the final round. He wound up in a tie for fifth, his best result of the year. He’s a horse for this course, having won at Silverado Country Club in 2022 and 2023, then tying for seventh in 2024.
- Tom Kim +14000: To say that 2025 hasn’t gone the way Tom Kim would’ve hoped would be a massive understatement. He’s really struggled, but at +14000, that number pops out in a massive way. He already had three PGA Tour titles by the time he was 21, becoming the youngest player since Tiger Woods to achieve that feat by 2023. Go into this wager understanding that it might be more of his recent form, but he absolutely has the ability to break out of his slump and take his fourth trophy.
- Adam Svensson +30000: A deep longshot with intriguing potential to pop is Adam Svensson, as he’s coming off a tie for 14th two starts ago. That event (3M Open), he held the first round lead after shooting a blistering 60. In the last two years, he’s found success at this track, picking up a pair of top-15s. He’ll be interesting to monitor in the top 10/20 markets.
