Odds as of July 13th.

Straily is a Stud

Back on June 12th, the Giants righty limited the LG bats to a single earned run, while striking out seven. He’s fresh off a shutout outing versus Hanwha, and has now held his opponents scoreless in 33% of his starts this season.

He ranks second in strikeouts, third in WHIP and fourth in ERA, and the Twins offense has been very inconsistent lately. LG has scored three runs or fewer in 10 of its last 20, and rank middle of the pack in most offensive categories.

The Twins will counter with Casey Kelly, who struggled badly in his only outing this season versus Lotte. He surrendered 11 hits and four runs to the Giants, and recorded a season-low one strikeout.

Pick: Lotte Giants -1.5 (+100)

Offensive Fireworks

Also on Tuesday’s sked, is a battle between first place NC and third place Kiwoom. The Dinos have scored 26 runs in their last three games, while the Heroes are fresh off giving up 30 runs in a three-game set versus KIA.

NC will trot out Jae Hak Lee versus Kiwoom, who is by far the weak link in their rotation. The 29-year-old has a 5.59 ERA this season and has given up 14 runs in his last four starts. He lasted just 1.2 innings in his previous start against the Heroes and hasn’t recorded a win in over a month.

Kiwoom will counter with Jake Brigham, who hasn’t made a start since May 22nd due to elbow issues. In four starts this season, he’s yet to make it out of the 6th inning and owns a 5.00 ERA.

Pick: Over 10.5 (-120)

Can’t Get Away from KT Wiz

Fresh off a rare series win, Hanwha visits a red-hot KT Wiz team who’s been scoring at will lately. The Suwon have crossed the plate 47 times in their last six outings and will look to take advantage of a struggling Warwick Saupold. The right-hander is coming off his two worst starts of the season, allowing a combined 10 runs to Lotte and KIA.

To make matter worse, Saupold struggles with right-handed batters, something the Suwon lineup is full of.

KT Wiz will give the ball to Odrisamer Despaigne, who’s had back-to-back quality starts. The former MLB’er held KIA to three runs over 6.2 innings last week en route to a 7-4 win, and limited Kiwoom to one run over 7 innings on July 3rd.

Pick: KT Wiz -1.5 (-115)
