Strong Starters Will Make Scoring Scarce

It’s always dangerous betting unders in Dinos games, but Tuesday’s matchup with the Tigers profiles as a pitchers duel.

NC will send Drew Rucinski to the mound, who’s allowed two or fewer runs in six of seven starts this season. Last time out, he gave up just three hits and two runs to Doosan, and in his previous outing he held Samsung scoreless over 6 innings.

KIA will give the ball to Aaron Brooks, who’s won back-to-back starts and held KT Wiz scoreless last time out. He’s allowed just four runs in his last 18 innings and his team has been in a bunch of low scoring games as of late. Seven of the past nine Tigers’ games have failed to go over the total, including all three over the weekend versus the SK Wyverns.

Pick: Under 9.5 (-120)

Jokisch Faces Light-Hitting Lotte

We’ve backed Jokisch in nearly every start he’s made this season and rarely has he disappointed. Even last time out when he didn’t have his best stuff, he still held the Lions to a single earned run over 6 innings. He’s allowed just seven earned runs in seven starts all season and has already silenced the Giants once in 2020.

Back on May 23rd, he limited Lotte to two runs and six hits over 6 innings in a blowout victory. The Giants have scored the third fewest runs in the KBO, and have hit the second fewest home runs.

Lotte will turn to Kyung Eun Noh, whose only two victories are against bottom-feeder Hanwha. He’s given up 11 runs in his last three outings, and lasted just 4 innings in his first start against the Heroes on May 22nd.

Pick: Kiwoom Heroes -1.5 (-150)

Wyverns Are an Under Machine

It’s no secret that the SK Wyverns struggle to score, so anytime they’re listed in a game with a total of 10.5, eyebrows should be raised.

All six of the Wyverns’ games last week failed to go over the total, and the under is 6-0-1 in their last seven. Only Hanwha has crossed the plate fewer times than the Wyverns, and SK has scored four runs in a game just once in the last week and a half.

On Tuesday they’ll send one of their betters arms to the mound versus KT Wiz, as Ricardo Pinto looks for his fifth consecutive quality start. He’s allowed just a single run in back-to-back outings, and the under has cashed in three of his last four starts.

KT Wiz, meanwhile, averaged fewer than four runs a game over the weekend versus Samsung and has been shutout three times in the last 10 days.

Pick: Under 10.5 (-120)
