Kim Consistent for Cardinals
A native of South Korea, Kim will be pitching on the West Coast for the first time during the regular season in his two-year MLB career. That should spark a fair share of media and fan interest.
Though Kim started the season on the injured list after being slowed by back problems in spring training, he has been outstanding. Kim has allowed one run in each of his last four starts after giving up three runs in three innings to the Philadelphia Phillies on April 17 in his season debut.

Kim did not factor in the decision last time out Tuesday against the Milwaukee Brewers, despite allowing just the one run in 5.1 innings. He struck out six while surrendering five hits and one walk.
Kim has been a great bargain for the Cardinals since being signed to a two-year, $8-million contract as a free agent following 13 seasons in the Korea Baseball Organization. He is unbeaten in his MLB career at 4-0 with a 2.03 ERA in 13 games, all but one a start.
In last year’s National League Wild Card Series, Kim faced the Padres and allowed three runs in 3.2 innings of a no-decision.

Weathers will be making his first start since April 28 when he left a game against the Arizona Diamondbacks in Phoenix because of arm fatigue.
Since then, Weathers has had a pair three-inning relief appearances, allowing one run combined in six innings. His latest outing was last Sunday against the Giants when he got the win, allowing no runs and one hit, striking out three and walking one.
Overall, Weathers has been charged with just two earned runs in 22.2 innings this season.

Nola hit a three-run homer off Wainwright in the third, an RBI double off Tyler Webb in the sixth and a two-run single off infielder Matt Carpenter, who was summoned to pitch with the bases loaded and two outs in the seventh. Carpenter also pitched the scoreless eighth, allowing a single and hitting a batter.
Yadier Molina, Arenado and Harrison Bader homered for the Cardinals.
A total of 25 runs have been scored in the first two games of the series and betting the low over total seems like the way to go here.
