The Seattle Mariners (90-72, 39-42 away) were largely outplayed for the first 25 innings of Games 3, 4, and 5 of the ALCS at home. But a five-run eighth innings in Game 5 gave the Mariners a 6-2 win and a 3-2 lead in the best-of-seven series over the Toronto Blue Jays (94-68, 54-27 home). The Mariners and Blue Jays will now have an off-day for travel as the ALCS shifts back to Toronto for Game 6 and, if necessary, Game 7.
The opening Mariners vs Blue Jays Game 6 odds have already been posted and Toronto is a slight favorite to force a seventh and deciding game. Game 6 is scheduled for 8:03 pm ET on Sunday, Oct. 19, at the Rogers Centre.
Opening Mariners vs Blue Jays Odds for Game 6
The opening Mariners/Blue Jays moneyline for Game 6 lists Toronto as -112 favorites. Seattle comes back as a -104 underdog. The run total and runline have yet to be posted.
The run total has opened at just 7.5 with the under favored at -122, despite the last four games all hitting the over.

Seattle’s World Series odds improved from +335 to +215 after their Game 5 victory. The Blue Jays’ title odds faded from +390 to +850. The Dodgers continue to be short -185 favorites.
Game 6 Probable Pitchers
The Game 6 starters haven’t been announced, but in all likelihood it will be a repeat of the Game 2 matchup between Seattle’s Logan Gilbert and Toronto rookie Trey Yesavage.
Neither were good in Game 2. Gilbert allowed three runs (two earned) on five hits and a walk over 3.0 IP. But that was still better than Yesavage’s final line: 5 ER, 4H, 3BB in 4.0 IP.
