The World Series rematch continues Saturday night, as the Dodgers (35-22, 20-8 home) host the Yankees (35-21, 17-12 away) at Dodger Stadium. Los Angeles took Friday’s series opener 8-5, rallying from deficits of 4-1 and 5-2 to spoil Max Fried’s Yankees debut.

The pitching matchup and weather conditions scream offense for Saturday’s showdown. I’m backing another high-scoring affair between these two powerhouse lineups.

Landon Knack has been a disaster for the Dodgers, posting a 5.22 ERA with an even uglier 5.35 expected ERA. The right-hander sits in the second percentile for hard-hit rate allowed and third percentile for average exit velocity. He’s been tagged for a 7.81 ERA and three homers in his last three home starts.

Even more concerning? Knack is 0-6 in team starts when the Dodgers are slight favorites and 0-5 against winning teams. With his 36.7% ground ball rate, the warm weather and wind blowing out spell trouble against a Yankees lineup that leads MLB with 92 home runs.

The Yankees thrive in day games, batting .281 with 39 homers while averaging 6.4 runs per game in daylight. Aaron Judge leads the charge with a .392 average and 19 home runs, while Paul Goldschmidt is hitting .343. Six Yankees have a WAR of 1.1 or higher.

Will Warren vs Landon Knack Stats

Will Warren has been lights-out recently, posting a 2.08 ERA over his last four starts with a 0.92 WHIP and 6:1 strikeout-to-walk ratio. He’s struck out at least seven batters in all five May starts, including 10 against Texas and nine versus Seattle.

Despite Warren’s hot streak, he allows plenty of hard contact himself (eighth percentile exit velocity). Against a Dodgers lineup featuring Shohei Ohtani’s league-leading 22 homers and Freddie Freeman’s .368 average, that could be problematic. The Dodgers have gone over the total in their last six games against American League opponents.

NY Yankees vs LA Dodgers Best Bet for Saturday

• Aaron Judge Over 2.5 Hits, Runs and RBI (-125 at BetMGM)

If we’re riding the over in this battle of World Series odds favorites, we need the big bats to deliver. And there’s no bigger bat than Aaron Judge right now.

Judge leads the majors with 83 hits and is batting an absurd .392 with 19 homers and 48 RBI. The Yankees are 13-0 after allowing 8+ runs since last season, averaging a 5.5-run margin of victory in those games.

After Friday’s loss, look for Judge to lead the charge against a struggling Knack, who’s allowing a .286 expected batting average. At -125, Judge over 2.5 combined hits, runs and RBI is excellent value.
