Bradish was outstanding last Tuesday against the Cardinals in St. Louis, earning his first career win in his third start while striking out 11 in seven innings. The Cardinals managed two runs on four hits and did not draw any walks off Bradish.

Bradish began the season at Triple-A Norfolk. In three starts, he was 2-0 with a 1.20 ERA.

This will be Bradish’s first career appearance against the Yankees. He is 0-1 with a 5.40 ERA in two starts at home and all three of his outings have been at night.

The Orioles struck out 16 times in their loss to the Tigers. Mancini’s ninth-inning solo homer kept Baltimore from being shut out for the second consecutive day.

Orioles shortstop Jorge Mateo left the game in the fourth inning with left shoulder and chest contusions and is considered day to day. He was injured when he collided with first baseman Spencer Torkelson while trying to beat out a bunt.

Left fielder Austin Hays missed the three-game series with a laceration on the back of his left hand. He is not expected to play Monday.
