Amosov vs Storley 2 Odds & Predictions

Entering Bellator 291 on an incredible 26-win streak, welterweight champion Yaroslav Amosov has to be eager to return to the cage. After all, the Ukrainian born fighter last fought in June of 2021 before stepping away from MMA to fight in the war for his homeland.

A native of Kiev, Amosov laid down his gloves and picked up a rifle in February of 2022 to serve in the Ukrainian military. The reigning welterweight champion only returned to training in November after central Ukraine was liberated.

In Amosov’s absence, Logan Storley has done nothing but win. Since his split decision loss to the champion at Bellator 256, Storley has racked up victories over Dante Schiro,  and Neiman Gracie. The American then took the interim welterweight title at Bellator 281 with a split decision victory over Michael Page.

Having said that, it’s tough to pinpoint a route to victory for the American. Amosov is the much larger fighter, and owns the longest winning streak in all of MMA for a reason. He also has more motivation than most to get back in the cage and put a beating on his opponent in the process.

Ultimately, Yaroslav Amosov will aim to continue his wrath of destruction in the Bellator cage on Saturday night. As his friends fight in the trenches, he’ll look to make a statement for them and for his country at Bellator 291.

Bellator 291 Main Event Pick: Yaroslav Amosov to win (-165)

Carvalho vs Kennedy Odds & Predictions

Both Pedro Carvalho and Jeremy Kennedy enter Saturday night looking for a shot at glory. A win for either man would catapult them into Bellator featherweight title contention.

Although Carvalho is a dangerous fighter, Kennedy is supremely underrated in this spot. Coming off of two straight victories, Kennedy has the wrestling capabilities needed to nullify Carvalho’s slick submission skills. Moreover, Pedro Carvalho has just two victories in his last five fights.

Look for Jeremy Kennedy to dominate at Bellator 291.

Bellator 291 Co-Main Event Pick: Jeremy Kennedy to win (-205)
