Saturday’s NBA playoff schedule couldn’t have broke better for basketball lovers. The slate is jam packed with four contests, and with each game starting two and a half hours apart there should be little to no overlay whatsoever.

The action starts in Toronto at 2pm ET, and that’s where you’ll find the first wager on our player props betting card.

Pick #1: Joel Embiid Under 30.5 Points

News broke on Friday that Embiid may need an MRI in the near future to determine if there’s ligament damage. Despite the injury, Embiid is set on playing in Game 4 as the 76ers have a chance to eliminate the Raptors as a 3.5-point favorite.

Embiid showed up to his press conference after Game 3 wearing a brace on his right hand, and while it didn’t seem to affect him in Wednesday’s OT victory, it is one of a few reasons to fade him on Saturday.

Embiid barely cleared 30 points last time out, despite the game going into OT. He landed on exactly 31 points in Game 2, and managed only 19 points in Game 1. Dating back to the regular season, Embiid has failed to reach 31 points in four of seven meetings against Toronto, and that’s when he’s been healthy.

With the Raptors season on the line, and with Nick Nurse knowing that Embiid is banged up, expect a Toronto defensive game plan that punishes the 28-year-old and limits his effectiveness.

Note, this line opened at 31.5 and has already been bet down a full point. Get your wagers in now, because there’s a good chance it closes below 30.5 come tip-off.

Pick: Joel Embiid Under 30.5 Points (-125)

Pick #2: Kevin Durant Over 5.5 Assists

Our next target is over 5.5 assists for Kevin Durant. KD’s Nets have their backs to the wall down 0-2 to the Celtics, but are 2.5-point favorites in Game 3.

Durant has not been distributing as much this series as he has in the past despite consistently seeing double-teams. The strategy of him trying to shoot his way out of trouble hasn’t worked so far, as evident by his 32% field goal percentage, so expect Brooklyn to mix it up.

Durant averaged 6.4 assists per game during the regular season, and prior to the start of this series, he racked up 40 assists over his final four regular season games which were all Nets victories.

Pick: Kevin Durant Over 5.5 Assists (-115)
