It’s an NBA 8-pack on Monday, with plenty of star power on display.
Two teams in the East’s top six are in action, including the Boston Celtics taking hosting the Phoenix Suns, while the Orlando Magic are in A-Town to battle the Hawks.
Out West, it’s a biggie in Houston where the Rockets host the surging Lakers, while the second-seeded San Antonio Spurs are in Inglewood to battle the Clippers.
It’s inside those games where we find the heart of our player prop action. Read below for my favorite plays for Monday, March 16.
Top NBA Player Prop Picks Tonight
There might not be a hotter player going in the NBA than Luka Doncic, who’s fresh of a game-winning bucket to knock off the Denver Nuggets, while we get plus odds on defensive beast Victor Wembanyama.
We close out our selection in Atlanta, where Paolo Banchero has been ripping up the Hawks’ defense on the regular for a decent stretch.
Prop Bet #1: Doncic Over 31.5 Points (-108 at DraftKings)

The Lakers’ star has been tearing it up in the month of March, putting up monster 34.1 points per game on 48.7% shooting from the field and a crisp 39.8% from 3-point range in eight games.
He’s coming off a 30-point triple double, and he’s been in range every game of that 31.5 scoring line set Monday against the Houston Rockets.
The Rockets are one of the top defenses in the league, and they’ve bottled up teams to the tune of 109.9 points per game this season, and held LA to under 100 in a 119-96 triumph on Christmas Day.
Doncic was limited to 25 points, but he’s traditionally loved lighting up the Rockets. He has a 39-point game against them as a Laker, but overall, he’s scored at least 32 points in seven of the last 10 matchups.
There’s high stakes in this one, and the NBA’s leading scorer should be the best player on the floor Monday night.
NBA Prop Bet #2: Wembanyama Over 3.5 Blocks (+115 at bet365)
SPORTSBOOK
This is a wager on the NBA’s premier athletic freak getting his swat on against the Clippers. Victor Wembanyama leads the NBA in blocks per game at 3.0, but his block line in recent weeks has been downright terrifying.
In his last dozen games, Wemby has recorded at least four blocked shots in 10 of them. The books have generously given him plus odds at a 3.5 block clip against the Clippers.
The Spurs’ big man has had his fair share of swats against the Clips, most notably sending back a monster nine blocks back in December of 2024.
And while he’s only topped the total twice in his last five games, he’s missed all three of those Overs by a mere block in each game.
With his current block rate, it’s definitely worth taking a flier on this prop.
Player-Prop Bet #3: Banchero Over 25+ Points (-113 at Kalshi)
Let’s wrap with Orlando’s go-to guy, getting a chance to light up one of the NBA’s bottom-half defenses in Atlanta, currently allowing 116.6 points per game (20th).
Paolo Banchero is the team’s offensive hub — at least until Franz Wagner can find his way back to health — and that’s been both a gift and a curse for the 2022 No. 1 pick.
Right now, his scoring fluctuations aren’t that big of a concern, as the team is riding a seven-game win streak. Banchero had 27 against the Heat, a game after scoring just 18 in an OT win … over the Wizards.
He’s gone Under his 25.5 scoring line against Atlanta four times in his last six games, but the Hawks could be his get-right team. Yes, even if they’ve won nine straight and held four teams to sub-100 points during this run.
Banchero has scored at least 26 points in five of his last seven head-to-heads against Atlanta, averaging a healthy 27.7 points per game, though it comes on a sub-par 41% shooting from the floor.
Again, you have to take the good with the bad. His volume alone should push this scoring prop Over the total.
