  • The free-falling Golden State Warriors are in Boston to take on the Celtics
  • Jayson Tatum offers hefty rebounding value against an undersized Golden State interior
  • Read below for all Warriors vs Celtics player props and my top picks

After breaking a 5-game losing slide, things don’t get much easier for the dinged-up Golden State Warriors (33-35, 14-20 away) who are in Boston Wednesday to take on the Celtics (45-23, 23-10 home).

From a game-betting perspective, this on is all Boston, a heavy favorite in the NBA odds, but we’re running down all the key NBA player props for this tilt.

Action tips off at 7pm ET from TD Garden, with ESPN carrying the national broadcast, with local affiliates NBC-BOS and NBCS-BA carrying it in each team’s city.

BOS vs GSW Injury Reports

Boston’s lone out for Wednesday is big man Nikola Vucevic (finger), who is recovering from surgery. He’ll be evaluated in about a month.

The Warriors’ list is deep and stacked, starting of course with star Stephen Curry, who’s been battling a knee injury and will be on the shelf for at least another 10 days. This is a team already down Jimmy Butler (knee) for the year, while Al Horford (calf), Seth Curry (adductor) and Moses Moody (wrist) are all out. LJ Cryer (hamstring) is questionable.

Celtics vs Warriors Player-Prop Odds

Boston boasts an elite Top- 5 defensive rating (109.8), but they protect the paint, leaving jumpers available on the perimeter., as the opposition hoists 39.1 three-point attempts per game against them. The Warriors, meanwhile, have struggled on the glass, posting a subpar 48.7% total rebound percentage and surrendering 11.9 offensive rebounds per game.

Celtics vs Warriors Player-Prop Picks

  • Pick 1: Jayson Tatum OVER 9.5 Rebounds (-110)

With Vučević sidelined, Boston can lean on its recently returned superstar wing — who can only help their NBA Championship odds — to also work the paint Wednesday night.

Jayson Tatum is averaging a sturdy 8.2 rebounds per game on the season, and that number skyrockets to a hefty 11.0 boards per contest at TD Garden. He matches up against a Warriors squad that bleeds rebounds on the road, allowing opponents to pull down 31.6 defensive rebounds per away game.

Given Golden State’s rebounding deficits and Tatum contributing in the hustle column as he works his way back from an Achilles tear, this feels like a gettable 9.5-rebound total.

  • Pick 2: Brandin Podziemski OVER 24.5 Points + Assists (-110)

Brandin Podziemski has been the primary beneficiary of Steph Curry forced to the sideline. The third-year guard has stepped seamlessly into the void, putting up 18.4 points and 4.6 assists over his last nine games, including 25 points and 6 assists against New York last time out.

Boston’s defense intentionally funnels action to the outside, and that’s where Podziemski will be operating. As far as Golden State’s current roster, he’s about the only player that is able to score for himself and create for others.
