This game might be arriving a day late on the calendar, because on paper, this contest between the visiting Miami Heat (32-28, 21-36-3 ATS) and hometown Charlotte Hornets (18-43, 26-33-2 ATS) are deriving the NBA version of Freaky Friday.

Woeful Charlotte, 14th overall in the Eastern Conference, are suddenly winning. Meanwhile, Miami, seventh in the East, are skidding through a losing streak.

The Heat have lost three in a row. Charlotte are winners of three straight. Regardless, it’s Miami that oddsmakers are setting as 4.5-point road favorites. The Heat lost 122-117 at Charlotte as the 6-point road chalk on Jan. 29.

Miami is 6-8-1 as an away favorite this season. The Hornets are 4-2 ATS in their last six home games. That includes the 122-117 decision over the Heat on Jan. 29.
