Kawhi Leonard, Paul George and the rest of the Los Angeles Clippers will be in Dallas trying to stave off elimination against the Mavericks on Friday Night. A Clippers win in Game 6 would take the series back to Los Angeles for a Game 7 on Sunday afternoon.
ESPN will be beaming the action into our lives beginning at 9:00pm ET. It will be the first time in a long while NBA bettors have had only one game on a Friday night. Exotic wagers will certainly be useful in a situation such as tonight.
The player prop market is a great way to add a little spice to your wagers. Check out the table below to see the lines on the players taking the floor tonight. Scroll down to see two of the better bets on the board.

Odds as of June 4th
Luka Goes Berzerk
While the Clippers have their backs against the wall and will likely come out swinging, we can’t ignore the greatness of Luka Doncic. The real question is, can the Clippers do anything to stop him from scoring at will?
Not just that, can they even slow him down? Through five games, the answer looks to be a resounding “no”.
Luka Doncic is 22 years old and outplaying a 2x Finals MVP and 7x All-Star in his 2nd Playoff series ever.

Outside of Game 4, Doncic has be special. Generational even. While the points are nice, he’s scored 31 or more in four of the five games, it’s the volume that should get bettors’ attention.
Doncic has taken at least 24 shots in every game. In Game 5 he hoisted up a ridiculous 37 shot attempts. Given the situation tonight, Luka could toss up 30+ shots again tonight.

He is the second player in @nba history to record a game with 42+ points, 8+ rebounds and 14+ assists in the postseason. #ALLIN pic.twitter.com/cXx2F4ifNb

While the excessive shot attempts are nice, we could even see some positive regression from the free throw line from Doncic. In the series, he’s 15-35 from the charity stripe. He’s a 73% free throw shooter on the season so he’s leaving some points on the floor.
It’s hard to imagine a higher ceiling for Doncic. But if he just regains his regular season form from the free throw line, his chances of scoring at least 30 points tonight only increase.
- The Pick: Doncic OVER 29.5 Points (-118)
Doncic From Deep
We just have to face the fact that this is a Luka night and be fine with it. This could be Game 5 all over again as the Mavericks obviously want to close out tonight.
It became apparent early in Game 5 that Doncic’s neck is not an issue going forward – so that narrative is done. He scored or assisted all but six Dallas Mavericks’ field goals in Game 5 and that seems to be the recipe for a Dallas win.
Luka Doncic in game 5 against the Clippers:
▪️ 42 Points | 8 Rebs | 14 Asts
▪️ He scored or assisted 31 of 37 Mavs buckets tonight.#NBAPlayoffs | #MFFL pic.twitter.com/UhJ14BiQCE— Stats Insider (@StatsInsider) June 3, 2021
During the regular season, Doncic attempted 8.3 three-point attempts per game. So far in the playoffs, he’s taken at least 11 in every game except one. That was the “neck game” that saw him still shoot seven threes. Chasing volume is where it’s at in this game we play and we’re getting volume from behind the three-point line.
FanDuel has Doncic’s made threes prop set at 2.5 (-196) at the moment, but I think I found a better way to play the wager.
Instead of laying all that juice, why not take his “to record 4+ made threes” prop at +142. After all, he’s hit at least five three-pointers in four of the five games in this series. Hit hit seven in Game 3 and six last game.
If the volume is there, and there is no reason to think it won’t be, then Doncic should bury at least four threes tonight.
- The Pick: Doncic to record 4+ Made Threes (+142)
