  • Read below for the latest NBA player props and best bets

With just a couple of weeks left in the regular season, Monday night could be pivotal around the NBA. The Cavaliers face a must-win against Orlando – Cleveland is looking to stay out of the Play-In Tournament in the NBA Playoff Bracket.

Tipping off at the same time, Charlotte hosts Denver after beating Brooklyn on Sunday night. It’s a game with significant seeding implications in both conferences, and Denver is favored by four.

Another game that will impact the East’s playoff picture, the Celtics are in Toronto to face the Raptors as 1.5-point favorites. There’s also a repeat of last season’s Play-In with the Grizzlies hosting Golden State.

The night is wrapped up with a tank-off between the Thunder and Blazers.

Charlotte Has No Answer for Joker

Nikola Jokic faces a Charlotte team which is 1-12 on the second night of back-to-backs. Charlotte has a weak spot at center and ranks below average in both rebounding and defensive rating since the All-Star break.

The points and rebounds line is what stands out for the Joker here. He’s gone over this in 10 of his last 12 games, and dropped 29 points and 21 boards when the Nuggets faced the Hornets earlier this season. It was dominance in the extreme from the reigning MVP – Charlotte had no answer for his size and strength, as has been the case throughout the season when they have matched up against the league’s best bigs.

The Hornets are coming off an impressive win over the Nets. Their performances on the second night of back to backs are a worry here, though, and it’s important to note that they gave up 20 and 17 to Andre Drummond on Sunday. Rudy Gobert clocked 19 boards in the previous game, and Obi Toppin dropped 18 and 11 in the game before that.

Even if Jokic has a bit of a down night scoring wise, he’s going to post massive rebounding numbers. Take the over here.

  • Pick: Nikola Jokic over 34.5 points and rebounds (-120)

Murray on the Boards

The Houston Rockets are the worst rebounding team in the league since the break. Dejounte Murray is one of the best guards on the glass in the league. His 11.3% rebounding rate is tied with Josh Giddey and is better than Jayson Tatum, Russell Westbrook and LaMelo Ball.

Murray is averaging 8.5 boards per game since the break. He’s clocked eight or more rebounds in nine of 13 appearances over that spell. The Rockets have been outrebounded in eight of their last nine games – their guard duo of Kevin Porter Jr and Jalen Green are below-average on the glass, which should give Murray plenty of rebounding opportunities.

San Antonio is fifth in pace. Houston is 10th over the last 17 games. This is a game tailor-made for Murray to put up some big numbers across the board, and this rebounding line is clearly on the low side given Houston’s poor rebounding stats.

  • Pick: Dejounte Murray over 7.5 rebounds (-110)
