Kevin Durant  and the Brooklyn Nets will be in Milwaukee visiting Giannis Antetokounmpo and the defending NBA Champion Bucks for the first leg of the doubleheader. When they’re finished, we’ll see Steph Curry and the Golden State Warriors take on LeBron James and the Los Angeles Lakers.

By now, everyone is keen on sides and totals but there are still many that haven’t felt the power of the player prop market. Check out the table below to see the lines on the players taking the floor tonight. Scroll down to see two of the better bets on the board.

Odds as of October 19th

Giannis Has a Three-Ball Now

Anyone who has ever watched the Milwaukee Bucks play knows that the one thing holding Giannis Antetokounmpo back is his jumper. It’s the one aspect of his game that is not superhuman. To go one step further, a lot of people say that if he had a better three-ball, he would be completely un-guardable.

Well, after watching the Bucks this preseason, it appears that Giannis may have a three-ball now.

Giannis has never been afraid to take a long-range attempt even though he hasn’t been much better than a 30% guy in the past couple seasons.  He’s not horrible, but being a career 28.7% shooter from behind the arc isn’t where you want to be. Still, in the past couple years he has taken roughly four attempts from downtown per game so it’s part of his game.

Watching Giannis in the preseason it’s clear that his three-ball looks better. He only took six of them (made four) but then again he only played 62 minutes. Based on that, if I had to guess, I’d say we will see him take at least four tonight. His price for for making just two is way too good to pass up given his possible new found form and possible volume.

  • The Pick: Antetokounmpo 2+ Three Pointers Made (+250)

Carmelo Time

The Los Angeles Lakers signed Carmelo Anthony in the offseason making the Lakers the even older than they already were. If this was 2014, this team would be unstoppable with LeBron James, Anthony Davis, Russell Westbrook and Dwight Howard. Still, just because he’s past his prime doesn’t mean Anthony can’t score the basketball.

Anthony will be the scorer off the bench for the Lakers who will definitely be monitoring James’ minutes this season. He should be a floor spacer that has the green light to shoot whenever he wants. It’s hard to imagine that doesn’t translate to 10+ shots tonight. If he hits that number, he should score at least 15 points.

  • The Pick: Anthony 15+ points (+130)
