The second leg of the NBA Play-In doubleheader Wednesday features an intriguing matchup between the 10th place Warriors (37-45) vs the 9th place Clippers (42-40). The loser sees their season extinguished, but the winner will face Phoenix Friday in a last ditch effort to punch their ticket to the postseason. Wednesday’s battle is on Prime Video, while Sportsnet has the coverage in Canada.
The Clippers have won nine of ten against their state rivals, and sportsbooks have installed them as 3.5 point favorites in the NBA odds. With a game featuring such high stakes, players like Stephen Curry, Kawhi Leonard, Draymond Green, Darius Garland, Kristaps Porzingis and Brook Lopez will feature heavily in the player props market. Keep reading for my favorite props to wager on, with the latest odds and rationale behind my selections.
Warriors vs Clippers Best Player Props to Bet
Stephen Curry is my top NBA props target tonight from Golden State. The Warriors will be desperate to empty the tank in tonight’s battle, which means more minutes for Curry, which hopefully results in more assists. He’s not been dropping dimes at such a high rate of late, with distributing 5+ assists just twice in his last nine outings. However, before that, he’d gone over the threshold in nine straight duels.
What makes me bullish on him being able to reach his target, is the history against the Clippers. Curry has amassed 5+ assists in twelve of his last 15 clashes against LAC. With a depleted G-State squad that’s clinging onto their playoff lives, I expect them to ride their franchise icon for as long as they can tonight, and he can reach his total.
For my second choice, I’m going with LA Clippers Center Brook Lopez to fail to register twelve or more points. In seven of his last eight affairs against the Warriors, he’s failed to eclipse that number. That includes all four meetings this season, where his high water mark vs G-State was seven points. In addition, five of the last eight games on the campaign, he was also under twelve points.
While it’s not fun to wager on a player not achieving a milestone number, statistically speaking, it’s the better play to have Lopez go under the total.

Both squads understandably aren’t considered serious threats in the NBA Championship odds, with the Clippers +70000 and the Warriors even longer at +100000.
