  • With the series knotted at 2-2, the Oklahoma City Thunder return home as massive -9.5 favorites over the Indiana Pacers in a crucial Game 5 of the NBA Finals
  • Plenty of sportsbooks are offering SGP boosts for Game 5
  • See the same-game parlay I am playing tonight for Pacers vs Thunder below

The NBA Finals shifts back to Oklahoma City for a pivotal Game 5, where the series has been turned into a best-of-three series. The Thunder successfully wrestled back home-court advantage with a gritty 111-104 victory in Indiana, which saw OKC put forth a fourth quarter comeback of their own, leveling the series at two games apiece.

The Indiana Pacers, who stole Game 1 on the road in dramatic fashion, now face the daunting task of winning another game on the road against a Thunder team who only lost six games at home in the regular season, and are 9-2 at Paycom Center in the postseason.

With plenty of sportsbooks offering same-game parlay boosts, I have put together my favorite NBA SGP for Game 5 between the Thunder and Pacers below.

Thunder vs Pacers SGP Picks

I’m betting the following three picks in a same-game parlay that comes out close to +200 odds:

  • Under 230.5
  • Andrew Nembhard 1+ Threes
  • Pascal Siakam 15+ Points

In the four games played so far in the NBA Finals, not a single game has gone over 230 points. Game 2 saw 230 points scored, but 223 is the next highest total. These two teams are coming off a series-low 215 points scored in Game 4.

With the Thunder back at home, I think their defense will get even more aggressive with the crowd feeding them energy, and I even like OKC’s offense to do a good job controlling the pace in Game 5. For those reasons, I like the under at a safer alternate line of 230.5.

The second pick I like is Andrew Nembhard to make 1+ three-point shots tonight. Nembhard is not shooting a ton of threes right now – averaging four 3pt attempts per game in the series – but he has hit at least one three in each game, averaging 1.5 three-point makes per game in the Finals. As we saw in Indiana’s Game 1 shocker, where Nembhard attempted a series-high six three-pointers, I think the Pacers offense will need to get aggressive late in the game, which will likely lead to some more shots from behind the arc.

Pascal Siakam won me some money last game and I’m coming back to him – this time to just score 15+ points. Siakam is averaging just under 19 PPG in this series and has cleared the 15-point milestone in each of the four games.

He has recorded at least 15 points in each of his last 13 games. With the way Siakam continues to get to the free throw line, I like him to continue that streak in a crucial matchup tonight.

The best odds for this SGP I could find at the time of writing this was +165 at bet365. If you’re not already signed up, you can take advantage of our bet365 bonus code “DIME365” to bet (at least) $5 on this SGP & get $150 in bonus bets guaranteed.

Returning to the Paycom Center, the Oklahoma City Thunder are as heavy as 9.5-point favorites. The -400 moneyline gives the Thunder an 80% implied probability to win Game 5 outright and take a 3-2 series lead.

The total is set at a lofty 224.5 points, a number that has been surpassed just once in the series. To ensure you’re getting the most updated lines, check out our Pacers vs Thunder odds.

NBA player props as of June 16, 2025

Shai Gilgeous-Alexander’s points prop is set at 34.5, a number he has cleared in two of four games so far. For the Pacers, Tyrese Haliburton’s assists line of 8.5 is a key barometer for their offense; if he’s hitting the over, Indiana is likely keeping pace.

Pascal Siakam’s points prop of 19.5, with heavy juice on the under, suggests oddsmakers anticipate the Thunder’s defense to key in on him. A player to watch is Chet Holmgren, whose rebounds prop is 8.5; he only managed six rebounds in each of the first two games of this series, but bounced back with ten and 15 over the last two, respectively.

Thunder vs Pacers Public Picks

The NBA public betting splits for Game 5 reveal a fascinating split between the public and professional bettors. While the majority of moneyline tickets (64.8%) are backing the Thunder to win at home, a staggering 78.9% of the moneyline handle is on the underdog Indiana Pacers.

This indicates that larger, likely sharper, wagers are finding value in the Pacers’ +315 price. On the spread, the public and sharps appear more aligned, with 67.2% of bets taking the Indiana Pacers plus the generous 9.5 points.

The most one-sided market is the total, where an overwhelming 84.3% of bets and 87.1% of the money are on the Over 224.5.
