They’re the two hottest teams going in the East, and the 9th-seeded Atlanta Hawks (36-31, 18-16 home) will try to close to within 1.5 games of the 6th-seeded Orlando Magic (38-28, 16-15 away) in a must-see matchup Monday.

The Hawks, who enter as slight home favorites in the NBA odds, own the league’s best current winning streak, with nine wins in a row, while Orlando has ripped off seven straight victories.

Orlando is not far off either, as they sport the 8th-best scoring defense in the league during that stretch. Their major strength has been defending the arc, limiting teams to an NBA-best 30.1% shooting clip from beyond the arc.
