It’s a battle of one of the NBA’s premier offenses taking on one of its least potent, as the Cleveland Cavaliers (41-27, 4th in the East) visit the Milwaukee Bucks (28-39, 11th in the East).
The Cavs are third in scoring at 119.1 points per game, while the Bucks are third-worst, scoring at a 111.2-point clip.
Still, there is plenty of star power on both rosters as we target the best available NBA player props.
Action gets underway Tuesday at 7pm ET from Fiserv Forum in Milwaukee, with broadcast coverage on NBC and Peacock.
Bucks vs Cavaliers Player-Prop Odds

One of Bucks’ strengths is the moneyball: they hit a 38.7% rate on the year, which ranks second-best in the league, and their 14.7 makes per contest ranks fifth overall. Perimeter shooters dotting the floor around Giannis Antetokounmpo, are taking advantage, including AJ Green, who is knocking down 2.81 threes per game on a blistering 40.97% from deep. Considering Cleveland allows teams to make at a robust 36.9%, there is value targeting shooters on the Bucks’ perimeter.
Conversely, Cleveland operates a high-octane offense centered around the James Harden-Donovan Mitchell backcourt, and they’ve guided the team to 47.8% shooting from the floor, a Top-10 mark.
MIL vs CLE Injury Reports
MIL Injury Updates: The most notable absences for the Bucks is their frontcourt, headlined by the Greek Freak.
- Giannis Antetokounmpo (ankle)
- Myles Turner: (calf).
- Ousmane Dieng: (illness)
All three players are considered questionable vs Cleveland Tuesday. Of note, forward Bobby Portis recently dealt with a thoracic spine contusion, but he has played through it over the last week, logging heavy, highly productive minutes.
CLE Injury Updates: While their stars are a go, plenty of supporting pieces are on the injury list, headlined by their starting center:
- Jarrett Allen (knee).
- Craig Porter Jr. (groin)
- Tyrese Proctor (quadricep)
- Sam Merrill (hamstring)
- Jaylon Tyson (ankle)
Allen, Porter Jr and Proctor have already been ruled out, with all three not even joining the team on the road, while Sam Merrill is considered questionable. Jaylon Tyson is the only one in the mix, considered probable Tuesday.
Bucks vs Cavaliers Player-Prop Picks
Bobby Portis OVER 17.5 Points (-120 via ESPN Bet)
With Antetokounmpo and Turner consistently popping up on the injury report, Bobby Portis has absorbed a massive offensive workload, making him my primary target on the Milwaukee side.
Over his last four games, Portis has been averaged 20 points and 7.8 rebounds per game, as his usage rate spiked to a hefty 27.9%. His perimeter volume has skyrocketed., splashing 3.8 three-pointers per game on a crisp 55.6%.
Portis has gone over his 17.5 points prop line in three of his last four games, while posting a healthy 65.4% effective field goal success rate across 31 home games at Fiserv Forum this season. Cleveland’s vulnerable road defense allows opponents to attempt 39.1 three-pointers and sink 14.1 triples per game, which all leans in to Portis’ strength as a prime-scoring option when needed.
Evan Mobley OVER 29.5 Points + Rebounds (-110 via DraftKings)
With Jarrett Allen down, Cleveland’s lone tower left standing, Evan Mobley, will be required to do more of the heavy lifting inside.
Over his last five games, Mobley is averaging 20.8 points and 9.4 rebounds, with 3.2 offensive boards per night. His play should flourish against a struggling Milwaukee interior defense that surrenders 116.1 points per game and allows opponents to pull down 11.2 offensive rebounds per contest.
Mobley has gone over 29.5 combined points and rebounds in four of his last five games this season, shooting at a hot 61.6% from the floor, on a hefty 25.7% usage rate. The result has been 16.4 points in the paint per game.
Milwaukee allows a 55.2% effective field goal percentage on the season while securing just 74.2% of available defensive rebounds, and Mobley should be able to exploit the paint for Cleveland.
