Victimized by an NBA record in their previous game, the Oklahoma City Thunder (18-23, 25-16 ATS) must now deal with the Philadelphia 76ers (25-15, 23-16-1 ATS), one of the Association’s best home squads. Among all NBA teams, only the Cleveland Cavaliers (18) have won more home games this season than the 17-6 Sixers.
In a 112-111 loss to the Miami Heat on Tuesday, Oklahoma City watched helplessly as the Heat went an NBA-record 40-for-40 from the free-throw line.
The Thunder and Philadelphia are two of the top against the spread teams in the NBA. Oklahoma and the Indiana Pacers share top spot, covering 61% of the time. The 76ers are in third with a 59% cover rate.
Philadelphia is getting the nod from the oddsmakers in this game. At home, the 76ers are 9.5-point favorites. Philadelphia is 16-7 ATS on home court this season.

Oklahoma City vs Philadelphia Injury Report
The Sixers got a boost in the NBA starting lineups for their last game when center Joel Embiid (foot) was returning to action following a three-game absence. He came back with a vengeance. Embiid scored 36 points and pulled down 11 boards in a 31-point victory over the Detroit Pistons. He’s the sixth betting choice in the NBA MVP odds.
The Thunder are missing PFÂ Aleksej Pokusevski (leg), PFÂ Jeremiah Robinson-Earl (ankle), SFÂ Ousmane Dieng (wrist) and PF Chet Holmgren (foot surgery). Holmgren is out for the season.
Sixers Bring Down The Thunder
James Harden has turned in back-to-back impressive performances for the 76ers, recording successive triple doubles, both against the Pistons. In Philadelphia’s 147-116 victory, Harden hit for 16 points, 15 assists and 12 rebounds.

With that win, Philly is 10 games over .500 for the first time this season. Following the game, the Sixers were returning guard Jaden Springer to the Delaware Blue Coats of the NBA G-League.
Oklahoma City Encountering Road Issues
Sixes are wild when it comes to Oklahoma City and road failure. Along with that six-game losing skid against the 76ers, the one-point loss suffered by the Thunder against the Heat extended Oklahoma City’s overall road losing streak to six games in a row.
At Philadelphia, Oklahoma City is on a three-game slide. However, prior to that skid the Thunder went 10-0 straight up in the City of Brotherly Love.

The loss to the Heat was a big night for Thunder guard Josh Giddey. He recorded a triple double with 18 points, 15 rebounds and 10 assists.
Playing his 90th NBA game, that enabled Giddey to reach 1,000 points, 700 rebounds and 500 assists for his career, becoming only the fourth player to do so in his first 100 games. Giddey joined Luka Doncic (85 games), Ben Simmons (85) and Grant Hill (100) as the only players in NBA history to achieve this feat in 100 games or less.
Oklahoma City vs Philadelphia Prediction
The 76ers have shown a propensity for playing down to their opposition. However, in the consecutive wins over a Pistons team that’s lost 24 of 32 and was missing four of their five top players, the 76ers stepped up from the tipoff and didn’t let up.
If Philadelphia brings that same level of drive and intensity into this game, it will also be no contest.
Pick:Â Philadelphia 76ers -9.5 (-110)
