In the latest installment of the I-74 Rivalry, Bradley visits Illinois State at 8:00 p.m. ET Sunday in a Missouri Valley Conference game at Redbird Arena in Normal.
Bradley (8-9/2-3 MVC/1-4 road) ended a three-game losing streak by routing Evansville 79-47 on Wednesday at home. Also on Wednesday, Illinois State (8-8/1-1 MVC/7-2 home) had its losing streak extended to three games by losing at Drake 86-75.

Few junior college transfers have made a bigger impact this season in college basketball that Bradley junior guard Terry Roberts. He is averaging 15.5 points, 4.9 rebounds, 4.2 assists and 1.6 steals after coming to the Braves from Florida Southwestern State.
Roberts shined in the rout of Evansville as he had 19 points, 10 rebounds and seven assists. He notched his second double-double of the season as well as a season high for assists.

Sophomore forward Rienk Mast had his fifth double-double of 2021-22 with 23 points and 13 rebounds.
Bradley was hot from three-point range as it drained 9 of 16 shots (56.3%) from beyond the arc.
Defensively, the Braves held Evansville to 29.1% shooting (16 of 55) and 6 of 25 (24.0%) on three-pointers. Bradley also hammered the Purple Aces on the boards with a 47-26 rebounding edge.
Senior forward Ja’Shon Henry is averaging 11.2 points and 5.2 rebounds. Junior forward Malvey Leons is scoring 10.9 points and pulling down 5.8 rebounds a game.

While Illinois State has struggled to stay around .500, it has a big-time scorer in junior guard Antonio Reeves. His 20.8 scoring average is 12th in the nation.

In the loss at Drake, Reeves finished with 15 points, five rebounds and three assists.
Junior forward Kendall Lewis led the Redbirds with 20 points, including four three-point field goals. It was second 20-point game of the season for the Appalachian State transfer.
Junior forward Sy Chatman added 14 points and senior guard Josiah Strong contributed 12 points, six assists and five rebounds. Chatman scored in double digits for the sixth straight game and Strong ran his streak to five games.
Chatman is averaging 15.3 points and 6.3 rebounds. Strong has a 13.1 scoring average.

Illinois State lost despite draining 10 of 19 three-point shots for 52.6%. Drake shot 55.9% (33 of 59), including 40.9% (9 of 22) from long range.
The Redbirds are 4-3 ATS at home and 8-6 overall.

Illinois State won both meetings last season to end a five-game losing streak against Bradley.
