We’re officially heading into Week 13 of the CFB season, the final weekend before bowl games. In the Pac-12, there will be a classic rivalry to finish out the campaign between #9 Oregon and #21 Oregon State in Corvallis at Reser Stadium. The kick-off here is scheduled for 3:30 PM ET. Find the Oregon vs Oregon State odds below.

The Ducks are in the midst of a solid 9-2 season and beat a very good Utah team in Week 12, 20-17 behind another standout performance from quarterback Bo Nix. He’s dealing with a foot injury and his status is still up in the air. The Beavers meanwhile put a beatdown on Arizona State, 31-7 in Tempe.

The Ducks are the more dominant team in this matchup, winning 12 of the last 14. They beat the Beavers 38-29 in Eugene in 2021.

Lots on The Line For Oregon

Dan Lanning’s squad heads into Week 13 needing a victory in order to secure their spot in the PAC-12 championship. They’re still a longshot for the CFP Playoff too, but that’s more unlikely. It’s been a great year for Oregon, possessing one of the top offenses in the country, ranking seventh in total yards and 4th in points per game with 40.2.

That’s much in part to their dual-threat signal-caller. Nix is enjoying a Heisman-caliber year, completing 72.4% of his passes for 3,062 yards, 25 touchdowns, and throwing for only six interceptions. Nix also has 14 rushing scores, running for 6.4 yards per carry. He didn’t have a huge game against the Utes but did enough to get them a win.

From Nix to several weapons in the backfield and out wide, the Ducks are no joke. However, the Beavers own the best defense in the Pac-12. Oregon will be tested in the hostile environment of Corvallis. If Nix isn’t able to go, it changes things drastically.

Oregon State Thriving ATS

Oregon State rarely comes out on top in what they call the “Civil War”. But there is reason for optimism come Saturday. The Beavers are 9-2 ATS, 6-0 ATS at Reser Stadium, and 3-1 as an ATS underdog. Jonathan Smith’s group is rolling as well, winning four of their last five, and outscoring their last two opponents 69-17.

The victory over the Sun Devils saw OSU once again rely on star freshman RB Damien Martinez, who rushed for over 100 yards for the fifth straight appearance. He is the standout performer of this Beavers offense and will undoubtedly be relied upon on Saturday. QB Ben Gulbranson was also efficient, completing 15 of 21 passes for 188 yards and one TD.

Defensively is where Oregon State really flourishes, allowing only 20.3 PPG. If Nix is in fact sidelined though, the Beavers definitely have a much better chance of pulling off the upset and ending the Ducks’ PAC-12 championship dreams.

Oregon vs Oregon State Prediction

Nix’s status is the key. If he suits up, I like Oregon to cover. If not, I truly think Oregon State gets it done at home and takes advantage of his absence. Keep an eye out.

Pick: Oregon -3 (-118) IF Bo Nix Plays

Oregon State +3 (-104) IF Bo Nix can’t suit up
