After losing (2-0) against Italy last Thursday in a friendly match, Netherlands will visit Czech Republic in the Letná Stadium at Prague, next Tuesday 9 at 14:45 ET on their first UEFA EURO 2016 qualifying match.
In the soccer odds, the third place of the last World Cup is the favorite with +100, +320 for a Czech Republic victory and +250 in case of a draw in this Group A Euro Qualifiers game.
The ‘Oranje’ coach, Guus Hiddink, said on a press conference that there is nothing to be alarmed after losing vs. the Azurri.
“After 10 minutes the match was over. After the sending off the aim was not to let in any more goals, but we lost to a very good side, said Hiddink after the lost. “We won’t panic; we have to remain concentrated, there are negatives from this match, but also positives.”
On the other side, the Czech Republic is seeking a victory after having two losses on their last two games against USA (1-0) and Austria (2-1). If they win, the victory will be the third home win against the Oranje.
Since 2000 to 2005, these two countries met five times, with two wins for each nation and one draw; they haven’t met since then, yet. Since Czech Republic is an independent nation has played nine times against Netherlands with a record of three winnings, three loses and three draws.
