  • The Cleveland Browns open their season September 8th against the Tennessee Titans
  • QB Baker Mayfield is sporting a mustache in camp with the Browns and you can bet on his look for the week 1 opener
  • Mayfield had a beard last season but seems to be enjoying the attention from reporters with his new look

The NFL silly season is in full force and what better way to celebrate than throwing some cash down on an amazing prop bet.

Baker Mayfield Week 1 Facial Hair Odds

Facial Hair Style Odds
Mustache Only +110
Full Beard +175
Clean Shaven +300
Horseshoe Mustache +700
Chin Curtain +1200
Muttonchops +2000
Chin Strap +3000
Soul Patch +3000

Odds taken 8/1/19.

As much as we’d like to see Cleveland Browns quarterback Baker Mayfield rocking a soul patch or a chin strap in Week 1, it’s not going to happen. Really it’s a two-horse race between mustache and full beard and I like one of those two options and recommend you join me in putting some money in on it.

Moustache Mayfield Set to Star for Browns

There was a lot of flash and dash to Mayfield’s game as a rookie. He helped the Browns to a 7-8-1 record while throwing for 3,725 yards and 27 touchdowns. Now things are about to change in Cleveland in a big, big way.

They added a super star in Odell Beckham Jr. and enter the season with lofty expectations for the first time in, well, a long time. What better way to turn over a new leaf than to rock a new look?

Mayfield seemed to have fun toying with reporters about his current look – the tightly groomed lip sweater. He’s almost committed now after making such a circus out of the innocent question of what exactly is he up to?

Could Mayfield Return to His Old Look By Week 1?

Of course he could. Mayfield supported the stubble of “full beard” look during his rookie campaign and he certainly could take the field in Week 1 with that same look. It really is the only other bet on the board I’d consider. He’s not going baby face or handlebars and you can ignore chin curtain and muttonchops as well.

Really, mustache is the only other choice the second year star out of Oklahoma has if he wants to be taken seriously. Take the +110 and bet on the fact he has enough swag to enter the regular season with a look that’s sure to turn some heads, just like these new-look Browns.

Pick: Mustache Only (+110)
