Commanders vs Buccaneers SGP Pick #1: Jayden Daniels 50+ Rushing Yards

These two teams’ first meeting marked the NFL debut for Daniels. The 24-year-old flashed his rushing upside early and often, racking up 88 yards on the ground and 2 TD. Daniels went on to lead all QB’s not named Lamar Jackson in rushing this season, with 891 yards and 6 TD.

Aside from Week 1, Daniels’ biggest rushing totals came in the Commanders tightest games. Oddsmakers project this game to be close. With the season on the line, we should expect Daniels to try and take matters into his own hands, or legs in this instance, more often.

The Buccaneers have one of the best rush defenses in the NFL when it comes to shutting down running backs, but against QB’s they’ve been vulnerable. That’s especially true against mobile quarterbacks.

Tampa Bay blitzes on 36% of opponent drop backs. Daniels averages 10.7 yards per scramble against the blitz, compared to just 7 yards per attempt against four or fewer rushers.

WSH vs TB Same-Game Parlay Pick #2: Jalen McMillan 50+ Receiving Yards

If you haven’t been following Bucs football lately, you’re likely unaware that McMillan has morphed into one of the most reliable secondary receiving options in the league.

Over the last five weeks, he’s averaged over 60 receiving yards per game. He’s racked up 24 catches during that span, with 7 TD.

McMillan moves all over the formation. Washington’s best cover corner Marshon Lattimore will be draped all over Mike Evans, opening up more opportunity for McMillan. None of the Commanders secondary corners boast a PFF grade north of 64, with three of them earning a coverage grade below 50.

Commanders vs Buccaneers SGP Pick #3: Bucky Irving Anytime TD

Last but not least, we have Irving. The rookie RB has taken the number one role in the Bucs backfield, out touching Rashaad White 109 to 51 in the last five games he’s started and finished.

Irving has 45 touches in the last two games alone, and is the Bucs red zone back. He’s an explosive play waiting to happen, with eight rushes or receptions of 30+ yards this season.

Matchup-wise, facing the Commanders is a dream scenario. Washington grades out as the NFL’s 29th ranked rush defense.
