NFL Week 12 Parlay Picks
This week’s parlay is zeroing in on two hot teams in the Seahawks and 49ers.

Raiders vs Seahawks
- Pick: Seahawks
The Raiders finally picked up their third win last week. Great. It was against a team as inept as they are in the Denver Broncos. And they were losing and they needed overtime. The week before they lost to another dysfunctional team with a first-time coach in the Indianapolis Colts. Their three wins have come at home against the Texans and two wins against the Broncos. Las Vegas also ranks 24th in points allowed per game at 24.2.
Now they’re going to Seattle to face a Seahawks team ranked fifth in points scored per game and who are 6-4 on the year and 3-1 at home. Seattle will have the extra rest having been on a bye last week after losing to Tampa Bay in Germany. But prior to that, they had won four straight and five of six. The Raiders have looked disinterested of late, while Geno Smith is having a career year ranking seventh in passing yards.
Saints vs 49ers
- Pick: 49ers
The 49ers just put the beat down on Arizona on MNF, stomping the Cards 38-10. They’re now fourth in the Super Bowl odds and riding a three-game winning streak. Adding Christian McCaffrey to the offense has given Kyle Shanahan a whole host of new options for the 49ers’ offense. Since trading for the former Carolina running back, San Fran has scored 31, 22 and 38 points. Meanwhile, the 49ers’ D is still one of the league’s best allowing just 14, 16 and 10 points in those games. In fact, they haven’t allowed a score in the second half in any of their past three games. Overall, they rank fourth in points allowed per game at 17.3.
The Saints are a bit erratic. They’re 4-7 on the year and just 2-4 in their past six. The two wins came last week against a Cooper Kupp-less LA Rams, and last month, 24-0 against a hapless Raiders bunch. Both of those wins came at home. On the road, New Orleans is just 1-3. While the Saints’ offense has scored 22.6 PPG (15th), they simply give up too much defensively, allowing 24.3 PPG (25th).
San Fran is looking like legitimate Super Bowl contenders, are rolling right now and should dispose of this Saints team on Sunday.

NFL Week 12 Teaser Odds

---|---|
Falcons vs Commanders | Falcons +4 (+14) |
Texans vs Dolphins | Dolphins -14 (-4) |
Rams vs Chiefs | Chiefs -15.5 (-5.5) |

This week we’re adding points to the Falcons to get them to two-touchdown underdogs. Meanwhile, we’re betting down a couple of huge favorites in the Dolphins and Chiefs.

Falcons vs Commanders
- Pick: Falcons +14
The Commanders may be last in the suddenly competitive NFC East, but they still have a winning record at 6-5 and have won back-to-back games. Both came on the road and they were by 13 and 11 points.
Their four other wins have come by 1, 2, 5 and 6 points. Most of those wins have come recently though as they are 5-1 in their past six. It’s not pretty, but the Commanders respond to Taylor Heinicke under center.
Atlanta comes into this with a weaker record at 5-6, but when the Falcons lose, they rarely get blown out. Outside of one 35-17 loss in Cincinnati, their other five losses have come by 10, 3, 6, 4 and 1 point. The ten-point loss also came on the road to division rival Carolina, playing with revenge after Atlanta had beat the Panthers earlier in the season.
Like many teams in the NFL this season, these are two average teams. And average teams rarely blow anyone away. Add some points to the Falcons to get this Week 12 teaser started.
Texans vs Dolphins
- Pick: Dolphins (-4)
The Texans are 1-8-1 on the year and have lost five straight. That one win did come on the road but any win, especially road wins are rare for Houston. They were 2-6 away from home last year and also 2-6 the year prior. Davis Mills has also never beaten a team on the road not named the Jacksonville Jaguars. And maybe that’s why they’re switching things up and going to backup Kyle Allen. Big deal. Allen started zero games last season and is just 7-10 as a starter.
Houston doesn’t score much overall, they rank 30th in PPG. On the road, they’ve scored 9, 20, 13, 20 and 16 points. That won’t be enough against a Miami offense that scores 25.2 PPG and puts up 391.5 YPG (3rd). Tua Tagovailoa should have a field day throwing to Tyreek Hill and Jaylen Waddle on Sunday.

Rams vs Chiefs
- Pick: Chiefs (-5.5)
Here’s another game with a massive spread that we’re going to bet down in our NFL Week 12 teaser. The Chiefs are 15.5-point favorites at home to the Rams.
The Chiefs could possibly cover this spread without the teaser, but I’m not in the business of laying over two touchdowns with anyone in the NFL.
The Super Bowl champs were already struggling for offense and now Cooper Kupp is on IR. Starting QB Matthew Stafford (neck) will also miss out in Week 12. Last week no Rams’ receiver finished with more than 62 yards and LA fell 27-20 to New Orleans. It’s now four losses in a row for Sean McVay and LA and against the Saints, Cardinals, Bucs and 49ers. Their only win in the past seven games came at home, a 24-10 win over the 3-8 Panthers.
How the Rams will come up with enough offense to go into Arrowhead and compete with the 8-2 (4-1 at home) Chiefs is tough to envision. The Chiefs are the league’s top-ranked team in YPG (429.3) and PPG (30).
- NFL Teaser Week 12 picks (10 points): Falcons +14 / Dolphins -4 / Chiefs -5.5 (-120); risk 1 unit
