It’s possibly the best matchup of Wild Card weekend, as the Buffalo Bills visit the Jacksonville Jaguars.

The usual QB suspects are mostly out this postseason, with Josh Allen by far the most explosive and battle-tested pivot in the field. And yet, he’s pegged as a 1.5-point road underdog Sunday to the Jags in the NFL odds, who sport their own franchise quarterback in his (taking a) leap year, Trevor Lawrence.

Both should be pretty potent — perhaps why the books have this game with the highest total of the weekend at 51.5 points.

James Cook, the league’s leading rusher this season and fourth in rushing TD’s has the shortest odds to find paydirt at -160, followed by Jacksonville RB Travis Etienne. But we’re dipping a little further down the board to get a little better value for our pick.

Bills vs Jaguars Anytime Touchdown Bet #1: Dawson Knox

• Dawson Knox Anytime TD (+290) at FanDuel

Here’s the deal: the anytime TD is the ultra conservative pick here, as Knox has been the key element in the Bills’ opening script of plays, especially in the Wild Card game.

Knox has scored the first major for the Bills in four of their last five Wild Card games.

Bills vs Jaguars Anytime Touchdown Bet #2: Jakobi Myers

• Jakobi Myers Anytime TD (+200) at FanDuel

If you’re looking for the fork in the road that turned Jacksonville from 2-5 afterthought to the hottest team entering the playoffs on the AFC side of the NFL playoff bracket, it was the not-so-significant trade of Jakobi Myers to the Jags.

After dropping their first game with their new receiver, the Jaguars have reeled off eight straight wins, and he was the catalyst, hauling in three touchdown passes in his first five games. His presence put all the other Jacksonville pass catchers in their rightful spots, letting Lawrence sit in the pocket and rip it.

Parker Washington has been the hotter receiver down the stretch, but Myers will likely be the go-to guy against the league’s stingiest pass defense (156.9 yards per games). Lawrence has thrown at least three TD passes in three of the last four games — I like Myers as a recipient Sunday.

Bills vs Jaguars Props Bet: Josh Allen Rush Attempts

The formula for stopping the Bills’ offense is to shut down James Cook. But that theory dies in the playoffs, because Josh Allen usually goes supernova. That includes becoming the most lethal dual threat pivot in the league.

With Allen running wild, Buffalo has a dimension to its offense few defenses can account for – especially when playing press coverage and blanketing a subpar set of receivers.

The Bills’ pivot has had at least eight carries in six of his last seven playoff games, and it doesn’t feel like Buffalo can win this one if Allen stays as a pure pocket passer.
