  • The Buffalo Bills vs New England Patriots inactive and injury reports for Thursday Night Football is showing five Bills starters listed as out
  • That list is including a pair of offensive linemen and both starting defensive ends
  • Patriots offensive lineman Isaiah Wynn and RB Damien Harris are out

The Buffalo Bills (8-3, 5-5-1 ATS) and the New England Patriots (6-5, 6-4-1 ATS) are dealing with deficiencies in their offensive and defensive fronts as they ready for their Week 13 TNF game.

Buffalo will be missing starting DE Greg Rousseau (ankle) and Von Miller. Center Mitch Morse (elbow), left tackle Dion Dawkins (ankle) are also out. MLB Tremaine Edmunds (groin) is sitting as well.

The Patriots will be doing without OL Isaiah Wynn (foot) and RB Damien Harris (thigh). Three other New England interior linemen are listed as questionable.

Bills Favored On the Road

Buffalo opened as a 5.5-point road favorite over New England in the Bills vs Patriots picks. However, that margin has since shrunk to Buffalo -3.5.

Kickoff at Gillette Stadium is set for 8:20 pm ET on Thursday, December 1. The game is airing exclusively on Amazon Prime as part of a new partnership for Thursday Night Football with Amazon. The Bills are drawing the majority of public support on the moneyline and point spread in the Bills vs Patriots betting splits.

Buffalo Bills Injury Report

Former Super Bowl MVP Miller was carted off the field in last week’s win over Detroit with a knee injury. He’s hoping for a Week 14 return to action. Rousseau hasn’t seen playing time since the Week 9 loss to the New York Jets.

Edmunds was missing the past two games and for three games in total this season. Morse will be out for his second game in a row and third overall in 2022. Dawkins had played 100% of offensive snaps in five straight games prior to his injury in the Thanksgiving win over the Lions.

Second-string RCB Kaiir Elam (ankle) is out. Backup TE Quintin Morris (illness) is questionable.

New England Patriots Injury Report

Center David Andrews (thigh) has been limited in practice this week. He’s been missing in three of the past four games, while only playing 24% of offensive snaps in Week 10 against the Jets.

Harris is missing his third game of the season. He’s been playing more than 24% of offensive snaps just once since Week 4.

LT Trent Brown (illness), WR Jakobi Meyers (shoulder), PR Marcus Jones (ankle), RCB Jalen Mills (groin) and backup safety Jabrill Peppers (illness) are all questionable. They’ve all been facing limitations in practice this week.

How Could Injuries Affect Bills vs Patriots Lines?

With Harris out, bettors will want to be looking into playing the over on carries by Patriots RB Rhamondre Stevenson in the Buffalo vs New England player props. The other backs on the New England roster – Kevin Harris, Pierre Strong and JJ Taylor – have combined for only 19 yards on 14 carries.

Likewise, if Meyers is dealing with limitations again – he played just 29% of snaps in last week’s loss at Minnesota – you should be expecting more targets going to Nelson Agholor and DeVante Parker. Meyers and Andrews are both expecting to play, though.

It’s the second straight game for New England without the versatile Wynn, who’s seen duty at right tackle, right guard and left guard this season. Making matters worse, backup Yodny Cajuste (calf) is questionable. He was the starter at right tackle against the Vikings.

Miller is Buffalo’s sack leader with eight. Rousseau is second on the team with five. No other player has garnered more than 1.5 sacks this season, so getting a pass rush on Patriots QB Mac Jones could be proving an issue for the Bills. Miller’s backup AJ Epenesa (ankle) is also out.
