Jalen Hurts is out and Gardner Minshew is in. That’s the fate of the Eagles’ offense this week in Dallas, as they take on the Cowboys in a huge divisional clash. Read on for Eagles vs Cowboys player props.
Philly enters play with a three-game lead over Dallas atop the NFC East and can clinch the division crown with a victory. The Cowboys meanwhile, need to win out to keep their NFC East title aspirations alive. If they’re going to beat the Eagles on Saturday, they’re going to need a vintage Dak Prescott performance.
Dak has been slinging it all over the field recently with great success and is the first target in our Eagles vs Cowboys player props.

Prescott currently has an over/under TD passes prop of 1.5, the same as Minshew. The ladder’s Week 16 prop is paying out plus odds, however, while Prescott is favorite to toss at least two touchdown passes.

PHI vs DAL Prop #1: Dak Prescott Over 1.5 TD Passes
Let’s start with the negative. Philly is much better against the pass than the run. They rank second in pass defense per DVOA, compared to 20th against the run. In their first meeting, the Cowboys managed only 181 passing yards against them, although that was with Cooper Rush under center.
Prescott has been playing lights out since returning from injury. He’s thrown multiple TD passes in six of his past seven outings, and is fresh off a three-touchdown performance against the Jaguars.
It is the most hilarious thing in the world that people think Dak Prescott is anything but very good.

The Eagles’ secondary is especially strong on the outside, so look for Dallas to scheme throws over the middle to tight ends and get their RBs heavily involved through the air. Fortunately for Prescott, he’s got the right guys playing those positions (CeeDee Lamb, Tony Pollard, Dalton Schultz) to help him succeed.
As for Dak’s recent history versus Philly, the last time he faced them he completed 77% of his throws for 295 yards and 5 TD.
Pick: Dak Prescott Over 1.5 TD Passes (-125), 1 unit
PHI vs DAL Prop #2: Michael Gallup Under 36.5 Receiving Yards
We’ll keep this simple. We already mentioned that you don’t attack the Eagles on the outside, and that’s where Michael Gallup runs nearly all of his routes.
Gallup has been extremely inconsistent this year and hasn’t proved he’s capable of being a legit number two wideout. He’s failed to clear 35 yards in six of 11 games and boasts just a 54.3% reception rate.
Michael Gallup Receiving Stats – Last 3 Games
REC | YDS | TD |
---|---|---|
1 | 2 | 0 |
2 | 40 | 0 |
4 | 23 | 2 |
Philly’s top-two corners James Bradberry and Darius Slay meanwhile, rank fifth and ninth respectively in coverage grade per Pro Football Focus.
Pick: Michael Gallup Under 36.5 Receiving Yards (-115), 1 unit

As far as the anytime TD market goes, Tony Pollard is the favorite, followed by teammate Ezekiel Elliott, which makes sense with the Cowboys favored by 5 points. A little further down the board, we’ll find Dalton Schultz, whose price is too good to ignore.
PHI vs DAL Prop #3: Dalton Schultz Anytime TD
We already know the place to attack Philly is over the middle, and who better to target than the Cowboys’ number one tight end. Prior to last week, Schultz had seen 11 red zone targets in his previous five games, converting two into touchdowns.

Schultz is having a down year compared to his eight-touchdown 2021 campaign but has historically crushed against the Eagles. In his past two games versus Philadelphia, he has nine catches and 4 TD.
Pick: Dalton Schulz Anytime TD (+230), 1 unit
Last Week’s Prop Record: 2-1, +0.74 units
