Eagles vs Packers SGP Leg #1 – AJ Brown Is Back

I love to bet players coming off of a bye week. Think about it, these guys are out there getting slammed around by 300+ pound dudes multiple times per game. So even when they aren’t “hurt”, they damn sure aren’t a little banged up. That’s just how being a human being works.

Lucky for us, AJ Brown sat out the week before the bye week, so he’s on a double bye. He’s also off the injury report completely.

Here’s the thing with Brown: he’s just getting started. Did he have a rough start to the season? Of course he did, we all saw it. He wasn’t getting targeted the way a superstar expects to, and it sucked for everybody. But look at his last three games. The man has been over 40 receiving yards in all of them.

We ball knowers know that hit rates don’t pay the bills, though. This game we play is all about matchups, and AJ has a good one tonight. We can expect a back-and-forth affair, which means the ball should go in the air enough for our boy AJ to get his. Both of these teams will approach this thing like a playoff game, so we’re getting a full systems go on both sides.

How does this help AJ? Because the Packers play zone at a 78% clip. We all know that AJ beats man coverage like it owes him money, but his ADOT is actually higher against zone looks. He won’t need many catches to get home on 40+ tonight. Feels easy.

PHI vs GB Same-Game Parlay Leg #2 – Christian Watson Is A Threat

We need something on the other side to make this thing interesting. I can hear the haters now, “Slop, Devonta Smith is going to go for 40+ as well.” Of course, he is, but is that even fun to root for? Stevie Wonder can see that is going to happen. We need to show out with our second leg. Flash our junk a little.

With that said, there’s no better way to flash our junk than to include Christian Watson in this thing.

I’ve said it a million times, “Don’t take Packers’ receivers.” The thing with the Packers is, they spread the ball around so much it’s tough to tell who is doing what in a given game. Lucky for us (not them), a lot of their guys are hurting. Tucker Kraft and Jayden Reed are out for the season, and Matthew Golden is questionable. That should tighten up the target tree a little bit.

Small target trees are great and all, but when it comes to Watson, we just want a team that will give up a deep one. Philly is that bunch. They’ve already given up 11 30+ yard receptions this season, which is all we need to cash Watson tonight. We’ve already seen him snag a 50-burger this season, and he’s barely played. This is free.
