Odds are out for preseason Week 3 and the lines could scarcely be narrower. No single point spread is larger than 3.5 points and 15 of the 16 games are at three points or fewer. The totals are almost as uniform, ranging from a low of 35.5 to a high of 39.5.
The table below lists the opening preseason Week 3 odds – including spread, moneyline, and total – for all 16 games on the slate. Week 3, the final week of the 2025 preseason, starts with a double-header on Thursday, August 21, and wraps up with ten-game slate on Saturday, August 23.
NFL Preseason Week 3 Odds & Betting Lines
All teams will have at least 11 days off between the final week of the preseason and Week 1 of the regular season, which starts on Thursday, Sep. 4, with Cowboys vs Eagles. See the full NFL schedule here.

Biggest Preseason Week 3 Spread: Broncos vs Saints
The biggest spread in Week 3 is Denver laying 3.5 points on the road against New Orleans. The Broncos have been the darlings of the preseason so far, posting a 2-0 record and league-best +41 point differential. The Saints, meanwhile, are 0-1-1 with a -14 point differential.
The Broncos suddenly have an embarrassment of riches at the QB position, at least by preseason standards. Bo Nix’s backup, Jarrett Stidham, has passed for 376 yards and four TDs in two games while completing 79% of his passes and committing zero turnovers. Third-stringer Sam Ehlinger has been more than serviceable, as well, going 20-of-26 (77%) for 217 yards, one TD, and no interceptions.
Lowest Preseason Week 3 Total: Texans vs Lions
Two Week 3 games have a total of 35.5: Texans/Lions and Ravens/Commanders. Texans vs Lions gets the nod for lowest total as the under is favored at -115, unlike Ravens/Commanders where the total is -110 both ways.
Both teams have had a ton of problems scoring in the preseason. Tennessee is averaging just 15.0 PPG through two games, while the Lions – who featured in the 2025 Hall of Fame Game – are averaging a paltry 13.7 PPG through three contests.
