When Brees went down with a thumb injury in Week 3, many thought the Saints were toast. Bridgewater — or rather, the Saints’ defense — proved the naysayers wrong. Bridgewater had a solid 177 passing yards and two touchdowns on 19 of 27, while the defense held the Seahawks to just 14 points in the first 57 minutes of the game.
But next up for the Saints are the Cowboys, who have been close to flawless in three games this season. Dallas, which leads the NFC East at 3-0, are three-point favorites.
The Cowboys are 3-0 both SU and against the spread this season. The Dak Prescott-led offense has scored 30 or more points in all three wins, including a 31-6 victory over the Miami Dolphins in Week 3.

The Cowboys opened as -150 favorites on the moneyline, with the Saints listed at -205.
Prescott has been strong out of the gate for the Cowboys as the QB ranks fifth in the league in passing yards (920) and second in touchdowns (9) through three weeks of action.
Offensive Shootout Between Chiefs And Lions?
The Chiefs offense is one of the best in the NFL, but it’s also covered up the team’s defensive woes at the same time.
Both the Chiefs and Lions in the bottom ten in yards allowed per game. Kansas City is giving up  395.7 all purpose yards per game, while the Lions are not far away at 394.7 heading into their Week 4 clash.

That is why the books set an opening total of 54.0 for Sunday’s game at Ford Field. The total opened at 53, and immediately increased a point on Monday.
That is a ton of points for an NFL total, but the Chiefs are currently averaging 33.7 points for per game this season. The Lions are only at a modest 22.3 points per game, but have scored 27 points in two of three games this year.
Biggest/Smallest Spreads
The Dolphins have been punching bags for opponents so far this season and that likely won’t change against the Baltimore Ravens.
The biggest spread for Week 4 is on this game, listing the Ravens as 16.5-point favorites over the Dolphins.

Baltimore has scored 110 points in three games and are averaging a league-leading 36.7 points per game. The Dolphins on the other hand have only scored 16 points this season and have an average of 5.3 points for per game.
Part of the reason the Ravens have started so strong has been the play of Lamar Jackson, who has transitioned into an all-around pivot rather than a one-dimensional quarterback. Jackson has thrown for 863 passing yards and six touchdowns.
The smallest spread of the week goes to the game between the Minnesota Vikings and Chicago Bears.

An opening 1.5-point spread in favor of the Bears has been set. This NFL North Division matchup is going to be a battle between two of the best defensive teams in the league.
Over the last three meetings between the two clubs, the Bears have posted a 2-1 record and have gone 3-0 ATS against the Vikings. The Bears have averaged 19.67 points per game during that stretch compared to Minnesota’s 17.67.
