- The Dolphins, Giants, Jets, and Redskins have been pitted against each other in the latest NFL prop
- Which of those four will finish with the most wins in 2019?
- The Jets are odds-on favorites, while the Dolphins are massive longshots
The number of winless NFL teams heading into third week of the season reached double-digits.
Among the 10 teams searching for wins are the New York Jets, whose projected win total opened at 7 this season.
After starting the season 0-2, will the Jets finish win more regular-season wins than the Miami Dolphins, New York Giants and Washington Redskins?
Oddsmakers released a prop bet on which of the four teams will finish with the most victories in 2019.
Which Team Will Record the Most Regular-Season Wins?
Team | Odds |
---|---|
New York Jets | -120 |
Washington Redskins | +200 |
New York Giants | +250 |
Miami Dolphins | +900 |
*Odds taken September 19
New York Jets
It wasn’t long ago that former Jets quarterback Mark Sanchez predicted the team would finish 13-3 and win the NFC East division. If that is to be the case, the Jets will have to almost run the table after dropping their first two games of the 2019 regular season.
The Jets finished tied for second-last in wins a year ago with four. Only the Arizona Cardinals had fewer (3).
With a Week 3 meeting against the defending Super Bowl champion Patriots slated, it’s almost certain the Jets will move to 0-3 and go into their Week 4 bye still searching for a victory.

The Jets will likely have to wait until Week 5 against the Philadelphia Eagles to finally get in the win column, but the celebrations will be short-lived with Week 6 and 7 games against the Dallas Cowboys and New England Patriots lined up. There’s a strong chance the Jets will be 1-5 at this point.
The big advantage the Jets have over the other three teams is that they face AFC East rival Miami twice. The Giants and Redskins both play Miami once, while the Dolphins are Miami and sadly don’t get to play themselves, significantly decreasing their chances of posting even a single win this year.
New York Giants
New York’s other team may be in the running now that Daniel Jones will get his chance to shine with the Giants, who are listed at +250 in this prop.
Head coach Pat Shurmur made the decision to sit two-time Super Bowl champion Eli Manning and hand the ball to Jones, who starts his NFL career with high expectations.

The Giants dropped the first two games of the season with Manning as the primary pivot. However, look for the G-Men to make a run with three winnable matchups against the Buccaneers, Redskins, and Vikings.
Aside from a Week 6 game against the Pats and a second meeting against the Cowboys in Week 9, the Giants will have a reasonable chance to win the other six games before their Week 10 bye.

Washington Redskins
Do the Redskins have a chance of finishing with the most wins among these four teams?
After dropping its first games of the season, the schedule won’t get any friendlier for the Redskins, who have early games against the Bears and Patriots to deal with.
The Redskins have had serious defensive issues, allowing the third-most total yards through two weeks of action. Their 63 points against in two games also ranks second-worst in the NFL along with the Giants.
And defense was supposed to be the strength of this Case Keenum-led team.
Miami Dolphins
No. Just no.
The Best Bet
Of the four teams listed in the prop, the Giants offer the best value to finish with the most regular-season victories now that Jones is under center.
Pick: New York Giants (+250)
