Even with one of the NFL’s best defenses, the Bears are riding a four-game losing streak into Week 10 against NFC North Division rivals, the Detroit Lions.
Despite their ongoing struggles, the Bears opened as the early three-point favorites vs the Lions. It’s one of the most noteworthy smaller spreads of the week, with just six games remaining in the NFL’s regular season schedule.

Odds taken Nov. 3
When sportsbooks released their opening odds for Week 10, the Bears were listed as the home favorites at -3 — a line that held firm into Sunday evening.
Could there be movement in the point spread as the game approaches? There is a strong possibility the line could move to 1-point or pick, especially considering Chicago has struggled against the spread this season.
The Bears are 2-6 ATS and have not covered in their last four games — all of which resulted in defeats. Playing at home hasn’t been much of a help for the Bears, who are 1-3 at Soldier Field this season.
However, the Lions are winless in two games against NFC North opponents heading into Week 10.

Chicago’s struggles this season can be pinned on poor offense, starting with QB Mitchell Trubisky who has thrown for just 1,092 passing yards with five TDs, three interceptions and 14 sacks.
There is a lot at stake here for both teams as it’s the first of two meetings for the division rivals.
Colts, Saints Both Open As 12-Point Favorites In Week 10
The Indianapolis Colts and New Orleans Saints both opened as 12-point favorites in their respective matchups.
With starting QB Drew Brees back from a thumb injury, the former Super Bowl champ looks like he hasn’t missed a beat — going 34/43 for 373 yards and three touchdown passes. Brees leads the 7-1 Saints into another favorable matchup in Week 10 against the 1-7 Atlanta Falcons. New Orleans has been great ATS this season, posting an overall record of 6-2 and covering its last six games.
The Colts are taking on the lowly Miami Dolphins and are also 12-point favorites early on. Indy is 4-3-1 ATS on the season, but the Colts have not covered the spread over their last two games.

Giants Have Edge in Battle of New York
One thing is almost certain about the game between the New York Jets and New York Giants — one of the struggling teams will snap a longstanding losing streak in Week 10.
Sportsbooks are giving the Giants, the slight 1.5-point edge against the Jets. The Jets are 2-6 ATS this season and have not covered over their last three games.

With the Jets at 1-7 and the Giants at 2-6, this could eventually become a pick game by Sunday.
Another premier matchup to watch closely comes in the Monday Nighter, with the unbeaten San Francisco 49ers listed as -6 favorites against the Seattle Seahawks. San Fran is 5-3 ATS this season, but the 49ers have only covered one game over their last three.

Total Points for Buccaneers-Cardinals Set at 53.5
Betting on total points? The largest projection set at sportsbooks come in the game between the Arizona Cardinals and Tampa Bay Buccaneers — with a total of 53.5. The Over/Under odds for this game are split at -110.
The high total comes as no real surprise considering Tampa Bay’s last five games have resulted in “Over” outcomes.
Sportsbooks have also set the opening total for the Saints and Falcons at 51.
