The Baltimore Ravens will be looking for a measure of revenge when they visit the Tennessee Titans on Sunday in an AFC wild card playoff game at Nissan Stadium in Nashville.
Last season, the Ravens were the AFC’s No. 1 seed when they were upset at home by the Titans 28-12, ending their 12-game winning streak. Tennessee also beat the Ravens again in Baltimore this season, 30-24 in overtime in Week 11.
The Titans feature Derrick Henry, who won his second straight NFL rushing title this season with 2,027 yards. Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson was ninth in the league in rushing with 1,005 and passed for 2,757 yards.
The Ravens are favored by three points in the matchup of 11-5 teams and the over/under is 54.5.

No Slowing Down Henry
The Titans have ridden Derrick Henry hard the last two seasons.
Henry’s 303 carries in the regular season in 2019 led the league and he toted the pigskin 83 more times in three playoff game. He has had an even heavier workload this season with his 383 rushing attempts again topping the NFL.
Yet, with the Titans needing a win last week to capture their first AFC South title since 2008, Henry rushed for a career-high 250 yards in 34 attempts in a victory over the Houston Texans.

Henry showed last January he can handle playoff pressure. He burned the Ravens for 195 yards after a 182-yard effort in another road upset over the New England Patriots.
Henry is the first player to lead the league in rushing in back-to-back seasons since Hall of Famer LaDainian Tomlinson in 2006-07. The Ravens’ rushing defense ranks eighth in the league but there seems to be no slowing Henry down.

Run Ravens Run
The Ravens also have a potent rushing attack and led the NFL in that category during the regular season with an average of 191.7 yards a game
Baltimore had three players rush for over 700 yards – quarterback Lamar Jackson (1,005), rookie J.K. Dobbins (805) and Gus Edwards (723). The Ravens have also exceeded 100 yards rushing in 39 consecutive games.

The Titans defense is just 28th overall and 19th against the run. Thus, the Ravens should be able to move the ball effectively on the ground.
Dobbins has surged late in the season, averaging 82.5 yards in the last six games after averaging 34.4 in the first nine. He missed one game.
Look for Dobbins to continue that momentum against the forgiving Titans “D.”

Who’ll Find The End Zone?
Since the Ravens are favored and have the best rushing offense in the league, let us go with logic in picking the first touchdown scorer.
It stands to reason Baltimore will try to establish the running game early and Dobbins (nine), Jackson (seven) and Edwards (six) have scored at least a half-dozen TD on the ground this season.
Look for Jackson to use the run-pass option a lot on the initial drive to finish it with a scoring run.
